A first Liverpool goal for Jarrell Quansah.
HT: Union Saint-Gilloise 2-1 Liverpool
I wonder how Jurgen Klopp is feeling about that first half...

duchess269: It's a concern that this is Liverpool's U21 team and Endo is still the worst player. Looking like a very poor Klopp signing considering how much we needed a DM.
HT: Zrinjski Mostar 0-0 Aston Villa
Legia Warsaw lead the group's other game 1-0 against AZ Alkmaar.
Villa are still in the last 16 if they draw this, but a defeat could see them finish second behind Legia.
HT: Union Saint-Gilloise 2-1 Liverpool
Union Saint-Gilloise have scored two goals in consecutive European home games for the first time since October 2022 - their first two games in the Europa League.
Zrinjski Mostar 0-0 Aston Villa
Thank you referee. A 15-minute break from this.
Villa into the Europa Conference League last 16 as things stand.
Union Saint-Gilloise 2-1 Liverpool
That's the half-time whistle. A trickle of goals at the end. Liverpool scored with their first effort through Jarrell Quansah but Union Saint-Gilloise regained their lead and probably deservedly so.
Union Saint-Gilloise 2-1 Liverpool
That goal has sparked a switch from Jurgen Klopp with Kaide Gordon coming across to the left, and Ben Doak moving over to the right.
Doak immediately wins a free-kick but Harvey Elliott's delivery won't quite reach Cody Gakpo.
Zrinjski Mostar 0-0 Aston Villa
Three minutes added on. Why?
Zrinjski Mostar 0-0 Aston Villa
Villa's Douglas Luiz swings in a corner, headed away.

scottjay86: Never mind the youngest Liverpool team ever, is this the highest combined squad numbers ever in a European match?
Cameron Puertas (43 mins)
Oh lovely.
Jarrell Quansah's goal was nice but this is equally as good from Cameron Puertas to restore the Belgian side's lead.
He gets it from Mohammed Amoura on the edge of the box and in similar two-touch fashion, drills it low and powerfully into the bottom left corner.
Zrinjski Mostar 0-0 Aston Villa
Nicolo Zaniolo has been one of Villa's brighter sparks tonight. He cuts in and smacks a shot towards the bottom corner from 20 yards. Saved.
Jarrell Quansah (39 mins)
What a strike!
Curtis Jones' corner comes all the way through to Jarrell Quansah. He takes one touch to trap the ball and his second thumps it past the goalkeeper.
It's his first goal for Liverpool and it's not a bad one considering he's a centre-back. It was Liverpool's first chance and they have scored!
Union Saint-Gilloise 1-0 Liverpool
A corner for Liverpool - their first of the match - as Harvey Elliott's cross is poked out.
Union Saint-Gilloise 1-0 Liverpool
Loïc Lapoussin turns on the edge of the box but rather than shooting, he tries to slip it through a wall of bodies and it rolls through to Caaoimhin Kelleher.
Union Saint-Gilloise 1-0 Liverpool
Alessio Castro-Montes' curling cross is headed behind by a diving Jarrell Quansah.
The home fans are in fine voice now.
Zrinjski Mostar 0-0 Aston Villa
Villa midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo is shown a yellow card for fouling home sub Tomislav Kis.
