At the end of the day, in their final third there is a lack of quality and that is something that has blighted Northern Ireland for some time.

It's not a reflection on anyone it's just an effect and that has to be addressed at some stage.

The absentees do hurt and there's no question of that, but come San Marino they will regroup and go out positive, it's a game they're going to win.

It's poor, I thought with the changes something would happen but we're just seeing there's no excitement there whatsoever.

Northern Ireland were *this* close to finding an equaliser in Astana.

We have always had problems scoring goals and we have shown that again tonight.

We don't have the quality upfront to take the chances that we create and I just don't see where we're going to get the goals from.

If Northern Ireland's Euro 2024 dreams weren't over already, they certainly are now.

Kazakhstan, on the other hand, are very much in the mix and are up to second in Group H.

What a story that would be!

If you look over the two games, Northern Ireland have probably been the better side, but they have taken their chances.

In the balance of play of the four games we have been missing that little bit of quality and the teams that are around the same level as us have had it.

You look at the game in Belfast against them, had they done much until they scored in the last minute? You look at the fact you go to Denmark and have a goal disallowed in the last minute.

It's just been so frustrating.

Kazakhstan are doing their best to run down the clock and are going to the turf with any chance they get.

Dion Charles gets the slightest touch on the back of Aleksandr Marochkin, who is rolling about pointing at his ankle.

I'm no doctor, but I'm pretty sure he'll be ok.

We're going to have SIX minutes of additional time.

Will we have late drama?

Around 150 Northern Ireland fans have made the trip to Astana via planes, trains and automobiles.

I think he will be disappointed if he got a yellow card for the challenge, I thought it was something he said. If it was a challenge they both just went up.

Dan Ballard has been booked for trying to win a header. He was definitely a touch late on his man but that seems a harsh.
