We have got to try to get that bit of quality that got them the goal. If we can get McMenamin down this right hand side and getting crosses into the box we could get joy from there.
Kazakhstan 1-0 Northern Ireland
Maksim Samorodov, the hero moments ago, is now booked for diving in the area when looking for a penalty.
The Paris Olympics are next year, lad. That type of carry on belongs in the pool.

That's the first bit of quality we have seen in the game.
Maksim Samorodov (26 mins)
First shot on target, first goal.
Maksim Samorodov darts his way past Daniel Ballard, takes a touch and fires low into the bottom corner from 20 yards.
It's a great hit, to be fair, but not what Northern Ireland wanted.
Kazakhstan 0-0 Northern Ireland
Northern Ireland are deep in the home half here .
Conor McMenamin sprints past the defender and races towards the area but his cross is cut out.
Moments later, Ali McCann looks to break into the area but he can't get a shot away.
That's better from the men in green.
Kazakhstan 0-0 Northern Ireland
John O'Neill
Former Northern Ireland defender on BBC Radio Ulster
In different circumstances we would be quite pleased with the way it's been going, 0-0 so far away from home is not bad.
But you're really hoping that we were going to see something like we saw on Thursday night going forward and unfortunately at the minute we haven't got ourselves going.
Kazakhstan 0-0 Northern Ireland
Conor McMenamin, who was unplayable in the first half in Slovenia curls in a cross but it's too deep and Igor Shatsky gathers.
Kazakhstan 0- 0 Northern Ireland
Bakhiytar Zainudtdinov nutmegs Ali McCann and gets the ball back on the edge of the area.
He has a go from range but he drags it wide.
It was the number 19 in the 19th minute. That's the type of thing you don't notice if the game is any good.
Kazakhstan 0-0 Northern Ireland
Ali McCann wins a free-kick in the centre circle.
It's pumped forward towards Dan Ballard, but he can't keep his header down and it's well over.
Kazakhstan 0-0 Northern Ireland
John O'Neill
Former Northern Ireland defender on BBC Radio Ulster
Northern Ireland have taken the sting out of the game and they're trying to pass it around and dictate the pace of the game.
Unfortunately, as soon as we get over the halfway line our quality of passing has been poor.

This has been much more like a Michael O'Neill side so far than it was on Thursday night in Slovenia.
There is none of the chaos that gripped Northern Ireland's performance in Ljubljana, with the visitors a lot more measured in their build-up and not showing the same urgency to attack.
There are pros and cons, of course, but while they have looked comfortable in possession at the back, they have yet to create a chance of note.
Kazakhstan 0-0 Northern Ireland
Yan Vorogovskiy has plenty of time on the edge of the area.
It's almost too much time, as he doesn't know whether to cross or shoot and he ends up clipping an aimless ball over the crossbar.
A bit more composure there and that could have been a chance.
Kazakhstan 0-0 Northern Ireland
Conor Washington almost gets on the end of Dan Ballard's knock down but it runs into the arms of Igor Shatsky.
Kazakhstan 0-0 Northern Ireland
John O'Neill
Former Northern Ireland defender on BBC Radio Ulster
We have totally changed the style in the first half that we played on Thursday night, first time we got the ball we were looking to go along every time and now we're trying to play a more measured build-up game through midfield.
Kazakhstan 0-0 Northern Ireland
The pitch isn't helping things and plenty of passes are coming up short on the plastic surface.
This one is yet to really spark into life here.
Kazakhstan 0-0 Northern Ireland
The hosts look to come forward and, after some neat and intricate play, Ali McCann is there to head the ball away from inside the area.
It's not been as frantic a start as it was on Thursday, anyway.
Kazakhstan 0-0 Northern Ireland
George Saville, who is yet to score for Northern Ireland, fires an effort well wide from outside the area.
Kazakhstan 0-0 Northern Ireland
Northern Ireland have had plenty of possession in the early stages here as both sides feel each other out.
We're playing on a plastic pitch here, which is rare to see at this level.
Will that have any impact tonight?
Kazakhstan 0-0 Northern Ireland
Here we go!
Will Northern Ireland bounce back with a win in Astana?
