They are top of the National League and have lost only one game this campaign.
And they have been dominating their opponents.
They have conceded just one goal in their last five games in all competitions whilst scoring 16 themselves.
Paul Cook's side travel nowhere without their shooting boots and the Spireites are playing like a team destined for a return back to the English Football League.

Chesterfield manager Paul Cook guided Portsmouth to promotion to League One in 2017.
But soon after the celebrations had died down at Fratton Park he jumped ship.

The Spireites are top of the National League and Pompey are top of League One - both are big favourites to earn promotion.
Chesterfield, who didn't even qualify for FA Cup proper in 2019-20 and 2020-21, have made in-roads in the competition the last two seasons making the third round on both occasions.
Portsmouth still haven't lost a game this season in 90 minutes - their only defeat came on penalties in the EFL Cup - and they have a confidence and swagger about them.
Pompey have won the FA Cup twice, most recently in 2008, and they made the third round of this competition last season and the last 16 in 2020.
The teams might be leagues a part on paper but Chesterfield are playing like they belong back in the EFL so this is by no means nailed-on for Pompey.

Eighth-tier Ramsgate made it through to the second round for the first time in their history by beating National League Woking 2-1.
If Cray Valley Paper Mills fail to beat Charlton later on, Ramsgate will be the lowest-ranked side left in the competition.
In an extraordinary game at the County Ground, National League Aldershot went 7-0 up at League Two Swindon before running out 7-4 winners.
And sixth-tier Scarborough suffered heartbreak as League Two Forest Green scored a stoppage-time equaliser at the wonderfully named Flamingo Land Stadium. The replay will be on Tuesday week.
