    Chesterfield deserve that.

Portsmouth didn't take advantage of the good positions they got themselves into.

They just didn't test the Chesterfield defence.

    What a performance from Chesterfield.

Beating the number one team in this competition.

Show the Spireites some big respect.

    This place is bouncing!

Chesterfield boss Paul Cook - who guided Portsmouth to League One promotion in 2017 - punches the air.

    Chesterfield deserve that win.

For Portsmouth, who were decimated by injuries in this game, that is only the second time they have been beaten by a non-league team in the FA Cup.

    Slough 0-0 Grimsby

Early stages on the artificial surface at Arbour Park where last year's quarter-finalists are aiming to reach the second round. Very warm and sunny, no drizzle at all in Slough.

Scott Davies is player-manager of the Rebels and has started himself... a rare and precious thing in the game in this day and age.

Abo Eisa has the first real effort of the game for the visitors but can only find the side netting of on-loan Cardiff keeper Rohan Luthra's goal.

    What a mess.

Portsmouth go short from the corner, the ball is deflected up into the air, and Chesterfield clear.

But only as far as Kusini Yengi on the outside of the box and he skies it.

The ball is in the car park where the Pompey team bus is warming up.

Portsmouth are trying desperately to find this equaliser.

    Chesterfield defending like demons.

    Chesterfield 1-0 Portsmouth

Another poor final ball from Portsmouth.

Paddy Lane - who was brilliant in the first half - sends a looping cross-cum shot toward the Chesterfield goal and it sails out of play.

Time is running our for the League One leaders.

    Chesterfield 1-0 Portsmouth

    Great defending from Chesterfield.

Really, really strong effort from the Spireites.

They totally shut down Portsmouth's Abu Kamara who had the ball just inside their box.

But he had absolutely nowhere to go and is forced out of the area with the ball at his feet.

Pompey are failing with their final balls.

Chesterfield have been good value for their 1-0 lead.

    Chesterfield 1-0 Portsmouth

Another opportunity is wasted by Portsmouth.

Abu Kamara is given space to dribble on the nearside edge of the Chesterfield box.

Looks like he is trying to find Colby Bishop in the middle but he is well marked.

He makes a loose pass that goes ... nowhere and rolls out.

    Indecisive from the sub.

    Time running out for Pompey.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 81 mins

Chesterfield make another change to it's midfield contingent.

  15. Postpublished at 80 mins

    Chesterfield 1-0 Portsmouth

    Ambitious from Portsmouth's Kusini Yengi.

He shoots from a tight angle, about 10 yards outside the Chesterfield box.

His low bouncing shot lacks power and is easily collected by Harry Tyrer in goal.

10 minutes of normal time left.

Oooof the Chesterfield fans thought they had a second.

Again the Spireites intercept and regain possession around midfield.

On the counter they switch the ball and find Ryan Colclough on the nearside who accelerates toward the Pompey box and shoots.

But the ball slams into the side netting.

Welcome to Slough to the new people.

This is another intriguing tie. The Rebels are struggling near the foot of National League South, 48 places below Grimsby, also sat 21st, but in League Two.

Ben Davies takes charge of the Mariners today after Paul Hurst was sacked last weekend in the wake of a fourth straight league defeat.

Grimsby toppled five teams from higher divisions, including Premier League Southampton, on their way to the quarter-finals last season.

They will have to pivot to the Goliath role today and don’t seem to have enjoyed that much of late - they have lost three of their last four FA Cup games against non-league opposition.

The omens aren’t great for Slough either as they have won only two of their previous 19 meetings with league teams in the competition, the last win coming against Walsall in 2004.

Who will rise to the occasion? If it's in you, the FA Cup will find it, that's actually what it does.

  20. Carpetmen aim to bag place in round twopublished at 13:50

    Kidderminster v Fleetwood (14:00 GMT)

The FA Cup might come as a welcome distraction for Kidderminster and Fleetwood when they lock-horns at Aggborough.

National League basement-boys Kidderminster have only scored five goals in their nine home league matches so far, earning seven points which includes three goalless draws.

Their 2-0 home success against Northern Premier League side Ashton United set up this tie for the Carpetmen against a side sat 50 places higher in the ladder.

Lee Johnson’s Fleetwood are third-bottom of League One but did salvage a dramatic 3-3 draw in their derby clash with Blackpool on Wednesday night.

The Cod Army are a perfect 10 from 10 against non-league sides since they were promoted into the league and reached the fifth round last season before bowing out against Burnley.

Can they keep the run going or will Kiddy rediscover their touch infront of goal?
