    Slough 1-0 Grimsby

Managerless Grimsby trail at the break to Slough, who have their player-manager Scott Davies to thank for their goal, a sublime curling free-kick over the wall and into the top corner. His passion in life is football, and it shows.

Big 15 minutes for Mariners interim Ben Davies because his side have been second best for almost the entire half. A little word that's important in management is morale. Grimsby need some.

The Rebels, for their part, have been fantastic.

    Crewe 0-0 Derby

Unbelievable opportunity for Crewe straight out of the gate.

Rio Adebisi roars forward and squares the ball to Elliott Nevitt who is just off the mark.

Derby all over the shop at the back.

  3. goal

GOAL: Kidderminster 1-1 Fleetwoodpublished at 14:50 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2023

    Josh Earl (45+1 mins)

You wait 44 minutes for a goal and then two come along at once.

Just two minutes after falling behind, Josh Earl flicks a header from Phoenix Patterson's corner and it finds its way into the bottom right corner.

    That's the way to respond!

  4. goal

GOAL: Kidderminster 1-0 Fleetwoodpublished at 14:47 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2023

    Bailey Morgan (44 mins)

    Well, well, well.

Kidderminster had struggled to carve out any big chances, but score with their first real sighting.

Ryan McLean is set free and feeds Chesterfield loanee Bailey Hobson to slide in a finish.

  5. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 14:44 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2023

    Slough 1-0 Grimsby

Harry Clifton goes into the book for a foul on Johnny Goddard to dampen the mood of the travelling fans even further.

George Alexander so nearly made it even worse, arching his neck and heading against the outside of the upright from 10 yards out from a cross from the left with Harvey Cartwright beaten all ends up. Inches away.

    Grimsby need half-time.

  6. Can Rams continue momentum?published at 14:42 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2023

    Crewe v Derby (14:45 GMT)

Derby County boss Paul Warne arrives at CreweImage source, Rex Features

It's been a mixed season for Derby County in League One this season with boss Paul Warne saying he "knows the club are way short of where we need to be" a few days ago.

The Rams go into this fixture on the back of a 4-0 win over Northampton which has left them just outside the play-offs.

Crewe are enjoying a fine campaign and sitting pretty in League Two.

The last time these sides met in the FA Cup was in 1985... Derby ran out 5-1 winners.

You'd bet on it being a lot closer this time around.

Promise Omochere now sticks a chance over the top from close range, teed up by Shaun Rooney's cross.

But the referee blows his whistle for a high boot from the Fleetwood striker as keeper Christian Dibble is caught, so wouldn't have counted.

  16. goal

GOAL: Slough 1-0 Grimsbypublished at 14:31 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2023

    Scott Davies (28 mins)

    The player-manager has done it.

Scott Davies steps up to bend a free-kick from fully 25 yards up and around the wall and past the despairing dive of Harvey Cartwright, who might have been somewhat blinded by the sun.

What a way to get your first goal of the season and show them what the Slough lot are like.

You have to say the hosts deserve their lead.

  17. CLOSE!published at 14:26 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2023

    Kidderminster 0-0 Fleetwood

Fleetwood captain Josh Vela with the first big chance of the game and he shoud have done better.

He arrives unmarked to meet Phoenix Patterson's cross but guides his header back across the face of goal and past the right-hand post.

    Gilt-edged.

    Kidderminster 0-0 Fleetwood

Quietish first 10 or so minutes at Aggborough with no real chances for either side as yet.

Amari Morgan-Smith tries an audacious effort for Harriers, but it drops comfortably wide for Fleetwood keeper Jay Lynch.

He then makes another promising run before he's halted. Bright start for the hosts.
