Sonny Black just couldn't quite contort his body to meet a cross from the right after his marker slipped infront of him in the goalmouth.

A very presentable chance from close range.

The Millers are finding a second wind.

Freddie Parker and Matthew Vigor are coming off for Cray Valley with Adam Coombes and Julien Anau coming on.

Coombes once scored six in an FA Cup match for Welling in 2016/17. Cray Valley would take one here...

Its territory isn't it for Cray Valley. 30 per cent possession, they don't need much of it as we've seen.

But it's about where you have the possession and what you do with it.

Keep it simple, set the ball, get it in the box, ask a question of the back four and see if the Charlton back four can defend.

117 places might separate these two sides but after 68 minutes no goals do.

Cray Valley are beginning to tire though. Arthur Lee is the latest to hit the deck and require treatment.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 61 mins

Alfie May, seven goals in his last six starts for Charlton, is one of a raft of changes. League One's leading scorer with 11. Nice ace up your sleeve if you're Michael Appleton.

May is a local lad himself who used to play in the Isthmian South East where he made his name with Hythe and earned a move to the EFL with Doncaster. He's the blueprint for all these young players wanting to make their way in the game. Can he crush some dreams this evening, though?

Tayo Edun, Charlie Kirk and James Abankwah depart with Nathan Asiimwe and Tennai Watson also coming on.

Long-serving Denzel Gayle has replaced Kyrell Lisbie for the Millers.

It’s tight. From where I was standing it looked just about the right decision,

But a lovely run again from Campbell. You feel he’s the key, he’s going to unlock it on this right-hand side.

His movement, the give and go's - he wants to run in behind.

Chem Campbell wanted a penalty for a challenge by Barney WIlliams in the box but nothing doing. Tayo Edun then whips a shot the wrong side of the near post when a cut-back into the box might have been a better back.

Charlton are relentless at present and Charlie Kirk tees up Scott Fraser who miskicks over the bar from just inside the box.

It's a brilliant start to the second half.

The game is right in the balance at this point.

Charlie Kirk again. He latches onto a through ball from Scott Fraser and is clean through on goal, only for Sam Freeman to fly out of his goal and block with his feet. Great goalkeeping.

Moments later James Abankwah's cross is met with a looping header by Slobodan Tedic which lands on top of the crossbar with Freeman scrambling back.

    Breathless stuff at the Valley.

It’s all about Sonny Black for me, brilliant play from him in midfield.,

The way he wins that ball and picks that pass with the outside of his boot.

Then a lovely ball in from Lisbie, right in that channel, and from a centre-back’s perspective it’s nearly impossible to defend a quality ball in that area.

Charlie Kirk really should have put Charlton back ahead. He ghosts in on the left to meet Chem Campbell's low cross but blazes high and wide from five yards out.

    NOW THEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hassan Ibrahim plays Kyrell Lisbie in down the left with superb pass with the outside of his boot and his low cross is turned into his own net at the near post by sliding defender Lucas Ness.

2,000 Millers fans behind the goal go crazy. The goal where Lisbie's dad Kevin scored the first two of his hat-trick in the Premier League against Liverpool.

    The FA Cup.

Kevin Lisbie told BBC MOTD Live: "The Cray Valley boys have stuck in there which is what they had to do. You can see Charlton are a full time club and are moving a bit different.

"For the boys to still be in this at 1-0 is great. If they can get an opportunity and take it is all to play for. They are attacking their fans in the second half.

"Everyone knows me knows Kyrell has worked really hard to be at this point and to be playing against Charlton at the Valley on live TV is a great achievement.

"He's worked really hard to get to this level and I am really proud of him and all my kids.

"I think he's enjoying the moment, but more improtantly he's doing well in the league and scoring goals. He's using this game as an opportunity to showcase what he can do before going back to the league."

When you come here and concede early on, you want to try and keep it as tight as you can.

I just don't think they got to grips with the game in that first 20 minutes.

I think the occasion and the atmosphere overawed them a little bit, gave the ball away too cheaply.

But after that 20 minutes they grew into the game.

They’ve responded well to going behind. They didn't let their heads go down.

It’s been a close battle, an interesting game to watch, really only separated by a real nice moment of quality and awareness from Tedic.

So very, very close. The Cray Valley manager will go in at half-time, have a word with his team and in the second half they’ll have a real go.

Scott Fraser latched onto Karoy Anderson's throughball to round Sam Freeman and slot the ball into the empty net on nine minutes but Cray Valley have given a good account of themselves since then. They have put their body on the line and matched their opponents for workrate. The only real bit of quality in the half is the difference.

Steve McKimm has plenty of positives to focus on while Addicks boss Michael Appleton will be pleased his new-look XI have gelled as well as they have too.

Scott Fraser picks out Charlie Kirk with a fine pass down the left, after working some space he whips the ball in towards Slobodan Tedic who can only divert his volley over the bar under pressure from skipper Arthur Lee.

Moments later Tedic and Lee start to swap shirts a bit too early, wrestling away in midfield before Lee is penalised for a pretty neat Judo throw to the deck.

    All good fun.
