Former Scotland international on BBC Scotland
The result wasn't what they wanted on Friday night, but I think they've proven to themselves and everyone else who was watching that they can go and mix it with the big guns in these types of competitions.
They don't fear anyone. It was a first defeat in seven. There are positive signs under the work that Pedro is carrying out and I think that's really starting to come to fruition.

Not even Storm Agnes - or Senga, as my granny went by - can put a dampener on the Tartan Army's voyage to Hampden tonight.
The early birds heading into Hampden were full of confidence and optimism (I did ask them if they remembered they were supporting Scotland).
But that's what Friday's performance against World Cup finalists and European champions, England, has done.
They're dreaming of a historic result here tonight, and that it would be. Belgium are no mugs.
But Pedro Martinez Losa had his side playing with a fluidity on Friday that spooked Sarina Wiegman's team. Now, it's about replicating that and having the result to go hand-in-hand.

Ives Sernels wasn't joking about that rain...
Scotland v Belgium (19:45)
Belgium head coach Ives Serneels seems to have a good grasp on this Scotland team. Less so, the weather.
He tells BBC Scotland: "Tonight is another game. We were happy with our result on Friday. We look forward to the game.
"It will not be an easy evening for us. They [Scotland] play well. They are in good shape, but we'll try and make it a good game tonight.
"We have three points, so if we take three points we're happy. There's been more rain than we imagined."

Scotland head coach Pedro Martinez Losa says his Scotland side have effectively recovered from Friday night's defeat in the Stadium of Light to name an unchanged XI for tonight's Nations League meeting with Belgium.
He tells BBC Scotland: "We have our routine already where we have some speech with the group about recovery strategies to maximise every opportunity we have to make sure the players are fresh.
"We gave them a little mental break to visit their families which is important - especially the players that are abroad - and, from there, the last two days, prepared for the match.
"There is a mix of being realistic, disappointed with the outcome, but happy with what we feel we can achieve together with the ability to compete every match, and progress as a team.
"I think it's [the unchanged line-up] important for the players. They are given a role and they are finding that consistency between all of them. But at the same time, we are missing players that can bring things to the team.
"I think there is a balance in between having competitiveness in every position, but also, providing a consistency in the idea, and in the performances."

There are six survivors in the Scotland squad from that 5-0 hammering the Scots suffered in their last meeting with Belgium in April 2017.
Full-back Nicola Docherty, winger Lisa Evans and midfielder Fiona Brown all started in Leuven.
Centre-half Sophie Howard came on as a second-half substitute, while Claire Emslie and Lee Gibson were unused substitutes. As was tonight's BBC Scotland co-commentator, Gemma Fay.
Tessa Wullaert, the former Manchester City striker now of Fortuna Sittard, who scored a stunning long-ranger to make it 3-0, and Jassina Blom, who found the net twice late on, are among Belgium's survivors from that game.

The recent form of tonight's teams are like mirror images of one another.
Scotland's 2-1 defeat by England on Friday ended a run of four straight victories and six without defeat.
Meanwhile, Friday's 2-1 win at home to Netherlands ended Belgium's four-game run without a victory, one that included three consecutive away defeats.

Belgium's last visit to Scotland, in 2011, ended in a narrow defeat.
One of legendary striker Julie Fleeting's 116 goals in 121 appearances was all that separated the sides that night at Falkirk Stadium.

There's a handful of well kent faces in Belgium's squad for those who are keen watchers of England's Super League.
Fortuna Sittard striker Tessa Wullaert spent two seasons with Manchester City.
Goalkeeper Nicky Evrard has just moved from Chelsea on loan to Brighton & Hove Albion and midfielder Justine Vanhaevermaet from Reading to Everton.
Meanwhile, Leicester City fans will be keen to get a glimpse of Janice Cayman, the forward having just moved from Lyon.

Scotland have faced Belgium 11 times previously, with each side recording five victories.
The Scots were shot down by the Red Flames four times before their first win - 4-0 in a 2002 World Cup qualifier in Livingston.
The Belgians have won the three other competitive fixtures between the sides, including by 3-0 in their first-ever meeting, at Paisley's Love Street in a Euro qualifier in 1995.
However, in friendlies since, Belgium have lost three and drawn one of their visits to Scotland.

The Nations League is not only important in its own right but has a big impact on a team's potential route to the Euro 2025 finals.
Scotland retaining their place in Group A guarantees a spot in the first round of the play-offs to qualify for the Euros - and against a team from the lowest groups.
Drop into Group B and they still have a good chance of a first-round play-off tie, but against a tougher opponent.
So tonight's game is pretty big, as only finishing in the top two in this section guarantees staying in Group A. The bottom side goes down, while second-bottom faces a relegation play-off.

Belgium head coach Ives Serneels makes just one enforced change to the side that defeated the Netherlands on Friday.
It's hardly surprising that he has turned to experienced Tenerife striker Jassina Blom to replace talented Leuven 20-year-old Hannah Eurlings, who drops out through injury.
The 29-year-old came off the bench to score against the Dutch and also knows the way to goal against the Scots, having found the net twice as a substitute in her side's 5-0 win the last time the sides met in 2017.

Head coach Pedro Martinez Losa names an unchanged Scotland side after that battling display against the Auld Enemy in Sunderland.
Kirsty Hanson, who scored the visitors' only goal at the Stadium of Light will look to get on the scoresheet again, supported by Martha Thomas and Clare Emslie.
Caroline Weir and Sam Kerr, of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich respectively, will look to control things in midfield, alongside AC Milan's Christy Grimshaw.
Goalkeeper Lee Gibson gets her 50th international cap in front of a Hampden home crowd.
