A change in formation is Sarina Wiegman's answer. She's gone four at the back with Jess Carter moving over to left-back.

Former England striker on ITV4
At the moment England don't seem to be able to keep the ball long enough to progress it.
Chloe Kelly's introduction for the second half, or perhaps I thought maybe Lauren James, could help towards that.
I'm not too happy with the way England are playing out from the back, it is too slow and a bit sloppy at times. We look vulnerable in those positions.
Netherlands 1-0 England
England have made a change at the break with Chloe Kelly coming on for Rachel Daly.

We go again.

Bryan: To say that England lose control without Walsh is a bit harsh. England's best performance at the World Cup was without Walsh. She plays better with Williamson behind her and Mead in front of her.
England look stale and samey, crying out for fresh faces. Why not play the excellent and multi-positional Niamh Charles? Or Kate Robinson? Wiegman far too conservative.

The goal was offside but England should have expected that high press from the Dutch.
We played out quite sloppily, as we saw at times against Scotland, and got caught.

A scoreline which probably reflects the first half fairly.
The Netherlands were the better team, even though their goal probably shouldn't have counted as Danielle van de Donk looked offside.
England had their chances at the end which they will feel they should have scored from but Lineth Beerensteyn will be wondering how her effort didn't squeeze in under the crossbar too.
A big test for Sarina Wiegman now. England have been underperforming for a few months. What answers do they have?

Important international competition and no Var. Why not?
Ken, Oxford
Wiegman needs to start changing some personnel instead of keeping the same 11 all the time.

Latest: Wales 0-2 Denmark
Tough night for Wales so far. Former Chelsea forward Pernille Harder has scored two goals in the opening 11 minutes to leave Denmark in a strong position at Cardiff City Stadium. There's a long way to go though for Gemma Grainger's side.
Netherlands 1-0 England
England go into the break a goal down, possibly wishing they'd have had VAR to save them.
Netherlands 1-0 England
England get back on the ball and are happy to run the clock down.
Netherlands 1-0 England
One minute added on. I don't want this half to end.
Netherlands 1-0 England
End-to-end now, like a basketball game.
The Netherlands burst forward from England's corner and Lineth Beerensteyn is held up by Jess Carter but cuts inside on to her right, steals a yard of space, and curls the ball against the crossbar.
Thrilling stuff.

England have burst into life in the final minutes of this half! If they can grab an equaliser before half-time it would be a huge boost.
You can see the players are communicating more and playing with more urgency since conceding. It's woken them up a little bit.
Netherlands 1-0 England
England are knocking on the door and Lauren Hemp is sent through but her shot is brilliantly saved by Daphne van Domselaar.
The Aston Villa stopper is then up again quickly to keep out Lucy Bronze's rebound, diving to her right to tip the ball around the post.
Netherlands 1-0 England
Almost 1-1!
A cross from the right is flicked into the air by Alessia Russo's header and Rachel Daly is quickest to react.
The Aston Villa forward/full-back meets the ball on the volley with a sort of jabbing motion, and sees it skid off her foot and on to the outside of the post.
The keeper didn't move.
Netherlands 1-0 England
Much, much better from England. The Netherlands overcommit and Lauren Hemp has acres down the left. Her cross is only just behind Alessia Russo but England keep the ball...
