It ended up as a convincing win for Leicester City, who started brightly before gifting Blackburn an equaliser.

But Jamie Vardy showed his class with a stunning strike to get the Foxes back on track before two late goals secured all three points for the visitors.

Can anyone stop Leicester from marching back to the Premier League?

There is, of course, a long, long way to go.

The final score is a tad harsh on Blackburn and the difference, unsurprisingly, was that added ex-Premier League quality that the visitors had.

Rovers were industrious and found a lot of joy in diagonals beyond the back line but they had no-one in their line up who could have produced a finish like Jamie Vardy did for the second goal.

But then again, who in the Championship does?

At times Rovers barely pressed Leicester at all, and allowed them a comfortable second half.

With the quality Leicester have, I’m not sure we’ll see them for too long at this level.

It was another solid performance from Leicester away from home.

Blackburn started the second half well but Leicester rode the pressure and it was fairly comfortable in the end.

Blackburn were in the game at 2-1 but that Kelechi Iheanacho penalty killed it.

It looked for a moment that the Foxes would grab a fifth as Yunus Akgun is played into the area.

But he checks back instead of hitting the ball first time and is closed down.

The ball is set back to Cesare Casadei, but his effort is blocked.
