Rovers have started the half with purpose, but give the ball away as they look to unpick the Foxes defence.

Blackburn are conceding an average of nearly two goals a game and that's not good.

It's ok playing free-flowing football and scoring goals, but you also have to defend your end.

Leicester get the second half under way at Ewood Park, with both sides unchanged.

Can Enzo Maresca's side close out what would be a fourth successive league win?

Rovers are looking to avoid a third straight defeat.

I think Leicester will be happy although there have been a few occasions when they have been untidy on the ball.

Blackburn do look dangerous and are trying to press from the front, which is how they got their goal, but Leicester have looked in contol of the game.

That was pretty breathless stuff. Both sides started fast, with Wout Faes heading Leicester in front before Sammie Szmodics capitalised on a defensive faux pas to level, all within the opening nine minutes.

Jamie Vardy then rolled back the years with a volley that hit the top of the bar before crashing home a left-foot shot to put Leicester back in front. And there were other chances on top of that.

Leicester City are heading back to the top of the Championship as things stand.

Jamie Vardy's stunning finish has given the Foxes the lead after Sammie Szmodics cancelled out Wout Faes' opener for the visitors.

Sulaimon Adelekan: Wilfred Ndidi's new role is bringing the best out of him and he has returned to his best form after enduring a very horrible last season in the top flight.

Sammie Szmodics takes the free-kick and Leicester head it away.

And Wout Faes starts it by bringing down Rovers winger Arnor Sigurdsson on the left.

Blackburn eventually win the ball on halfway and work it forward.

A cross is stood up looking for Sammie Szmodics but a Leicester defender gets there first.

The Foxes break up the other end and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall fires into the side-netting.

How many times have we seen Jamie Vardy smash a ball like that? It looked like that wicked ball from Ndidi would go beyond him but razor sharp control and that powered finish on his weaker foot was excellent.

There are a couple of players in that Leicester orange who look like they’re enjoying themselves at this level. Wout Faes has channelled his inner ‘Libero’ with a couple of mazy dribbles from the back and Vardy, of course, has nothing to prove at 36 but is out there enjoying his football and looking as hungry as ever.

Still, they keep faffing at the back and Rovers keep having joy with those balls beyond that back four.

Sammie Szmodics puts a ball across the Leicester six-yard box but there is no Blackburn player attacking it.

Rovers retain possession but then Arnor Sigurdsson has an attempted cross blocked by Wout Faes.

The past few minutes have just been a tale of Leicester possession.

The Foxes are patiently knocking it about looking for Rovers to move out of position and then strike.

They work the ball forward to Jamie Vardy but the striker is penalised for a high boot.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's corner is headed away and then Rovers look to break through Dilan Markanday.

But Ricardo Pereira and Wout Faes track the winger well and recover possession on halfway.

Harry Pickering heads a dangerous cross into the Rovers box behind for a corner.

The hosts can't afford to go two goals down before the break.

Blackburn almost have a chance to grab another quick equaliser as the ball is cut back from the right byline.

Andy Moran waits a moment too long for the ball to reach him and the Foxes clear the danger.
