Blackburn have had the better of the half, but can't quite create a decent opening.

They win a corner on the left and take it short.

Andy Moran looks to play in Sammie Szmodics, but it is Jamie Vardy, of all people, with the crucial interception to cut out the slide-rule pass.

    Blackburn 1-2 Leicester

Rovers have started the half with purpose, but give the ball away as they look to unpick the Foxes defence.

The visitors break forward but the move loses some momentum before Stephy Mavididi clips a cross harmlessly out of play.

He was attempting to stand it up into the six-yard box, and should have done better.

Blackburn defender Hayden Carter is the next man shown yellow by referee James Linington, for a foul on Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall just inside the Rovers half.

Lewis Travis puts his studs on the ball and Sammie Szmodics shoots.

He curls it past the wall but also wide of goal.

Foxes keeper Mads Hermansen wasn't troubled at all.

Andy Moran races forward and goes down just outside the Leicester area.

Jannik Vestergaard is booked for his challenge on the winger - but the Foxes centre-back says he didn't touch Moran.

Either way, Blackburn have a free-kick centrally inside the D.

Blackburn are conceding an average of nearly two goals a game and that's not good.

It's ok playing free-flowing football and scoring goals, but you also have to defend your end.

    Blackburn 1-2 Leicester

Leicester get the second half under way at Ewood Park, with both sides unchanged.

Can Enzo Maresca's side close out what would be a fourth successive league win?

Rovers are looking to avoid a third straight defeat.

    David Nugent
Ex-Leicester striker on BBC Radio Leicester

I think Leicester will be happy although there have been a few occasions when they have been untidy on the ball.

Blackburn do look dangerous and are trying to press from the front, which is how they got their goal, but Leicester have looked in contol of the game.

That was pretty breathless stuff. Both sides started fast, with Wout Faes heading Leicester in front before Sammie Szmodics capitalised on a defensive faux pas to level, all within the opening nine minutes.

Jamie Vardy then rolled back the years with a volley that hit the top of the bar before crashing home a left-foot shot to put Leicester back in front. And there were other chances on top of that.

Into three minutes of added time at the end of the first half.

And Wout Faes starts it by bringing down Rovers winger Arnor Sigurdsson on the left.

A great place for the hosts to swing one into the box...

How many times have we seen Jamie Vardy smash a ball like that? It looked like that wicked ball from Ndidi would go beyond him but razor sharp control and that powered finish on his weaker foot was excellent.

There are a couple of players in that Leicester orange who look like they’re enjoying themselves at this level. Wout Faes has channelled his inner ‘Libero’ with a couple of mazy dribbles from the back and Vardy, of course, has nothing to prove at 36 but is out there enjoying his football and looking as hungry as ever.

Still, they keep faffing at the back and Rovers keep having joy with those balls beyond that back four.

Sammie Szmodics puts a ball across the Leicester six-yard box but there is no Blackburn player attacking it.

Rovers retain possession but then Arnor Sigurdsson has an attempted cross blocked by Wout Faes.

    Blackburn 1-2 Leicester

The past few minutes have just been a tale of Leicester possession.

The Foxes are patiently knocking it about looking for Rovers to move out of position and then strike.

They work the ball forward to Jamie Vardy but the striker is penalised for a high boot.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's corner is headed away and then Rovers look to break through Dilan Markanday.

But Ricardo Pereira and Wout Faes track the winger well and recover possession on halfway.

Harry Pickering heads a dangerous cross into the Rovers box behind for a corner.

The hosts can't afford to go two goals down before the break.

    Blackburn 1-2 Leicester

Blackburn almost have a chance to grab another quick equaliser as the ball is cut back from the right byline.

Andy Moran waits a moment too long for the ball to reach him and the Foxes clear the danger.
