    Championship leaders Leicester City came back from behind to win 3-1 at Swansea and move 11 points clear of third place.

    Wayne Rooney's first game as Birmingham boss ended in a 1-0 defeat by Middlesbrough and Leeds fought back from 2-0 down to claim a 3-2 win at Norwich.

    In League One, Portsmouth needed a late winner from Conor Shaughnessy to see off dogged Carlisle and go eight points clear of third.

    League Two leaders Stockport made it eight straight wins with an exciting 3-2 victory over Grimsby and second-placed Notts County marked their 5,000th game in the Football League with a 2-1 win at Gillingham.

    • Crewe came from behind to win 4-2 at Crawley but Wrexham lost ground as Paul Mullin’s goal at Bradford was cancelled out late on.
    • Swindon came from behind to lead 2-1 at Salford through Charlie Austin on 85 minutes but conceded an equaliser six minutes into stoppage time.
    • Mansfield v Forest Green was postponed but Accrington won 1-0 against MK Dons, under Mike Williamson, who are now winless in nine.
    • Basement-boys Sutton came from 2-0 down at home to Morecambe to level, only to lose 3-2 to a stoppage-time goal while Harrogate came from a goal down to win 2-1 at Colchester.

    Ryan Fraser's winning goal deep into injury time gives Southampton the victory and they jump up to fifth in the Championship.

    Disappointment for Hull who fought back to get on level terms in the first half and looked strong throughout the match.

    Norwich 2-3 Leeds

    Leeds take all three points at Carrow Road after a terrific second-half fightback.

    They trailed 2-0 at the break but a Shane Duffy own goal and a Crysencio Summerville double mean the Whites take the points back to West Yorkshire and make it a perfect return to Norfolk for former Canaries boss Daniel Farke.

    Stoke edge away from the bottom of the table with three points in the bag, whilst Sunderland squander the chance to enter the Championship top three.

    Luke McNally's towering header just after the break put the Potters ahead and the Black Cats were unable to find an equaliser.

    Big win for Stoke.

    Bristol City 1-0 Coventry

    Bristol City leap into the Championship's top 10 and Coventry will be frustrated not to have at least earned a point.

    Robert Dickie put the Robins ahead on the stroke of halftime and the Sky Blues fought back in the second half but couldn't find a way through.

    A hard earned point for the home side at Ashton Gate.

    Swansea went ahead, but that was like poking the bear and Leicester's response has been emphatic.
