Sheffield Wednesday fans at Home Park must be wondering what's just happened.

Their side were the better of the two for most of that half, but those final four minutes have given them a mountain to climb.

It doesn't bode well for the Owls - they've not scored in five matches and have yet to score three goals or more in a game this season.

Liam Delap has now put Hull City 1-0 up away from home - with a goal in the opening 20 minutes - three times this season.

On the first of those occasions at Carrow Road in early August, Norwich City came back to win 2-1, with goals in first-half added time and then in the sixth minute of second-half added time.

On the second at Leicester in early September, they hung on to win 1-0 - still the only points the Championship leaders have dropped this season.

But this is St Andrew's in late October. And there have been chances at either end. It may be 0-1 at half-time again, but surely there are more goals to come. And it would make Wayne Rooney's world a lot happier if Blues can get one or two of them and save this season's unbeaten home record.

Concerted spell of pressure for Leeds, at least possession-wise, but the well-drilled Stoke backline have the answer when the ball goes into the box looking for Willy Gnonto.

Stoke have been solid.

What a final 10 minutes of the first half from Plymouth, who banged in a pair of goals in quick succession.

Sheffield Wednesday are on the ropes - an all-too familiar position.

In-form Ipswich are in control and it's thanks to a bouncing beauty of a goal from Nathan Broadhead who fired home from just inside the box after 15 minutes.

Wednesday don't know what has hit them.

Six or seven minutes ago they were in control and by far the best team here at Home Park.

But those two goals have proved a real sucker punch for Danny Rohl's side - it looks like tonight might be another cross in the loss column for the Owls.

Hull have the lead at half-time and Liam Delap's goal to punish a Birmingham defensive lapse is the difference.

Blues under Wayne Rooney have shown signs they can come back into this, but they must cut out the silly mistakes which have given Hull all sorts of joy.

Both sides have had chances. No-one broken the deadlock.

What a way to mark your first start!

Mustapha Bundu almost kicked the leather off that ball as he pulverised the free-kick into the top corner - it clipped the underside of the bar on the way through to make it all the sweeter.

It's sent this Home Park crowd crazy after a first half that had been sticky for the hosts.

Wednesday can count themselves lucky they are not down to 10 men - Dominic Iorfa probably should have been sent off after upending Morgan Whittaker when he was clean through, but Bundu's goal from the resulting free-kick has ironed out that wrinkle for the Argyle fans.

From Southampton's Gavin Bazunu and he knows it!

The ball is rolling around the six-yard-area and a Preston player fires off a twisting shot from close range.

Bazunu sticks out his right leg and saves what looked like a sure goal.

He stands up and pumps both his fists ... he is cooking right now.

Siriki Dembele is picked out by Juninho Bacuna, gets a shot sway from the edge of the box and Hull are reliant on Ryan Allsop to scramble and beat away.

More like it from the Blues. But still they trail.
