A night to forget for Glasgow City, but it's still worth marking the milestones.

Emily Whelan has now made 50 appearances for the champions, and will surely make plenty more this season as Leanne Ross' team compete on three domestic fronts.

There's Women's Champions League qualifiers all over the gaff this evening as teams attempt to join Brann in the competition proper.

One that'll raise the eyebrows, last season's runners-up Wolfsburg are out! Paris FC (not PSG) are the ones to slay the giants, after also getting past Arsenal last month.

That's certainly a team to watch.

"Barcelona, Lyon, Chelsea..."

The Norwegian commentator excitedly lists the illustrious clubs Brann could now play in the group stage.

It's the glamour and glory those Glasgow City players are missing out on. It'll sting for a while.

So much credit has to go to Brann. Quite simply, the Norwegian champions blew their Scottish counterparts away.

This side will go down in the club's history as the first to reach the group stage of the Champions League.

Glasgow City's Champions League dream is over for this year.

They gave themselves a huge mountain to climb at Pettershill last week, and the task proved outwith their reach as they were bested again by Brann.

It means no Scottish representation in the group stage of Europe's elite competition again.

The City players just want this to be over.

If Bergen wasn't already braced for a Champions League party, they certainly can now.

Less than 10 minutes for City to do something that allows them to fly home with their heads held that wee bit higher.

So nearly calamity at the back for City. So much so, I'm not entirely sure what happened.

Somehow, City survive.

For City, Amy Muir looks to be struggling and is likely to be replaced.

The ball is prodded into the path of Lauren Davidson as she ghosts into the box Her first touch is excellent and allows room to fire at goal, but the shot looks precision and rifles the side netting.

We've seen her score those time and time again.

Double change for City now.

Lisa Forrest and Aleigh Gambone are drafted in, as the two players who have received treatment - Emily Whelan and Kinga Kozak - head off.

The hosts surge forward again and could well grab a second.

Amalie Eikeland whips in a searing ball across the face, so quick that nobody can tap it home.

Those Brann players are showing off now.

Dancing down the byline. Twisting past opponents with ease. They're toying with City.

And that's all for Hayley Lauder this evening, She made a huge difference in the first leg, but her return to the side is being managed by Leanne Ross, as she brings on Mairead Fulton.
