It's been three tough games in a row, and we have to accept we are not at that level. This is one of the best teams in the world.
But, we have to learn from these three games and see where we can improve.
We limited Spain last week. We defended well, but this is a better team that Spain, no doubt about it. It's the pace they move the ball at, similar to England.

When they want to step it up, they can... And we can't handle it.
It's been a fairly boring second half, but easily, France can flick a switch and take it up a notch.
Kingsley Coman
The French subs make a difference.
Marcus Thuram speeds in from the left and crosses for Antoine Griezmann to somehow steer a volley against the crossbar from a couple of yards out. The ball bounces back to Kingsley Coman, who thunders it home first time.
Great technique from the Bayern Munich winger.

There is a real lack of energy... It's pretty pedestrian stuff.
There is no urgency or speed to either team.

Che Adams makes an enterprising run to find some daylight in the French half but he's sorely lacking in support. The Southampton forward eventually dinks a ball into the box for Greg Taylor to chase but the Celtic full-back is beaten to it by Theo Hernandez.

The crowd are pretty quiet with France yet to reach the tempo they ended the first half on.
France 3-1 Scotland
Ibrahima Konate takes a clumsy touch near his own penalty box and Lewis Ferguson is all over him, forcing the ball through to Che Adams for a run at goal, but the referee doesn't like the challenge from Ferguson. A bit harsh, that.

Zander Clark is coming on for his first Scotland cap, taking over from Liam Kelly between the sticks.
A tough first half for the Motherwell man. Will the Hearts custodian be under as much pressure?

Our TV pals at Viaplay are analysing the penalty award again and it does look like Liam Cooper is being pulled as much as he is pulling.
Maybe not quite as clear cut as it looked initially.
