It's been three tough games in a row, and we have to accept we are not at that level. This is one of the best teams in the world.

But, we have to learn from these three games and see where we can improve.

We limited Spain last week. We defended well, but this is a better team that Spain, no doubt about it. It's the pace they move the ball at, similar to England.

Youssouf Fofana and Boubacar Kamara are on for France.

Ryan Christie and Stuart Armstrong are on for Scotland. Kenny McLean and Billy Gilmour are off for a rest.

A lovely spin neat the edge of the box from Jacob Brown as he gathers a pass from Nathan Patterson and Mike Maignan is at full-stretch to push the shot round the post.

When they want to step it up, they can... And we can't handle it.

It's been a fairly boring second half, but easily, France can flick a switch and take it up a notch.

Olivier Giroud and Ousmane Dembele make way for Marcus Thuram and Kingsley Coman.

Scotland also make a couple of substitutions, with John Souttar and Jacob Brown taking over from Liam Cooper and Che Adams.

Scott McTominay pings it in low, but it's a bit of a scuffed effort and easily cleared away.

There is a real lack of energy... It's pretty pedestrian stuff.

There is no urgency or speed to either team.

Here comes Kylian Mbappe scurrying forward. He tries to squeeze a shot past Jack Hendry at the edge of the penalty area but the Scotland defender stands tall.

The locals get excited for the first time since the interval as Antoine Griezmann loops up a pass for Kylian Mbappe, but the superstar makes a mess of his overhead kick attempt.

Che Adams makes an enterprising run to find some daylight in the French half but he's sorely lacking in support. The Southampton forward eventually dinks a ball into the box for Greg Taylor to chase but the Celtic full-back is beaten to it by Theo Hernandez.

The crowd are pretty quiet with France yet to reach the tempo they ended the first half on.

Ibrahima Konate takes a clumsy touch near his own penalty box and Lewis Ferguson is all over him, forcing the ball through to Che Adams for a run at goal, but the referee doesn't like the challenge from Ferguson. A bit harsh, that.
