  1. goal

GOAL - Man City 1-0 Bournemouthpublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Jeremy Doku (30 mins)

    Well it had been becoming.

Jeremy Doku plays a little one-two with Rodri on the edge of the penalty area and sends a right-footed effort into the bottom right corner and out of reach of goalkeeper Andrei Radu.

It's a bit of a scuffed shot, to be honest, but City won't care.

Well deserved, he's been very lively so far.

  2. Postpublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Everton 1-0 Brighton

Great run from Everton defender James Tarkowski into midfield, a few sidesteps. The home fans are loving it.

    Brighton not quite clicking yet.

It just hits him but he is able to soften it. Jarrod Bowen is on fire.

    Everton 1-0 Brighton

Lewis Dunk is still raging at that decision. It looks like it might be his shoulder was offside but it is so tight.

As an Evertonian I'm delighted to see Everton still leading but as a football fan it's a shame to see a great strike disallowed for a shoulder being offside

  7. Postpublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Man City 0-0 Bournemouth

Bernardo Silva strikes an absolute beauty from the edge of the area but he just can't quite find the target.

    That would've been a stunner.

  8. VAR check...published at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Brentford 1-2 West Ham

Oh there's a VAR check for handball with Jarrod Bowen. Did he use his arm to control the ball?

It's being replayed several times by VAR.

  9. Postpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Wolves

Wolves have a free kick in the middle of the park after Hwang Hee-chan was brought down.

Replays show it was a soft one but the referee had his back to it.

    Free kick comes to nothing.

  10. Postpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Burnley 0-1 Crystal Palace

Burnley almost get an instant leveller as Brazillian Vitinho cuts on to his left foot and sends in a wicked cross towards the back post.

Luca Koleosho can't get on the end of it though and the ball fizzes harmlessly wide.

  11. Postpublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Man City 0-0 Bournemouth

Another let off for the visitors.

The ball falls fortuitously for Erling Haaland who drives forward but can't quite sort his feet out to get the shot away.

  12. goal

GOAL - Brentford 1-2 West Hampublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Jarrod Bowen (26 mins)

The first player to score in his side's opening six Premier League away games in a season - Jarrod Bowen.

It's almost Mohammed Kudus' goal as he diverts Said Benrahma's cross onto the post.

Kudus almost fumbles the rebound behind as it bounces back out at him before he can react, but Bowen is there too and slides it into an empty net.

  13. Postpublished at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Everton 1-0 Brighton

James Garner takes the free-kick for Everton but it flies over the bar.

  14. Postpublished at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Brentford 1-1 West Ham

Kristoffer Ajer is penalised for a foul on Said Benrahma. It didn't look like much at all so he's understandably frustrated.

His complaints earn him a yellow card.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Everton 1-0 Brighton

Not going Lewis Dunk's way here today. The Brighton captain got the final touch on Everton's goal, then had a goal disallowed by the VAR and now he's booked for clattering over Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

  16. Postpublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

  17. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Man City 0-0 Bournemouth

Erling Haaland is loitering again at the far post as Julian Alvarez floats one in. The Norwegian gets up high but it clips the outside of the post.

It actually takes a little deflection off Cherries captain Lloyd Kelly. The pressure continues.

GOAL - Burnley 0-1 Crystal Palacepublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Jeffrey Schlupp (22 mins)

    The gloom darkens for Burnley.

What's Jordan Beyer doing? He dawdles on the ball and loses possession to Jordan Ayew who drives into the box and rolls it across to Jeffrey Schlupp who has a tap-in.

Palace have got just their second first-half goal of the season.

    Burnley's troubles continue.

Michael: You can't even see the offside for Brighton. Another game, another way for VAR to ruin football.
