  2. Postpublished at 13:50 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Fulham 0-0 Man Utd

Fulham break through Harry Wilson. It's laid off to Willian on the left and his pull-back is blocked.

There's a quick VAR check for handball - perhaps by Jonny Evans? - but nothing given.

Harry Maguire is then needed to intervene as Willian threatens to get on the end of a loose ball in the six-yard area.

Most of these Man Utd players are playing like they want a new manager again. These players should be ashamed of themselves.

As an England and United fan I am spoilt for choice today, do I watch England capitulate against Australia or United struggle against Fulham.....hmmm decisions.

The two wide players need to get in the game for Man United, they have not really been involved too much so far, have been more on the periphery.

  9. Postpublished at 13:40 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Fulham 0-0 Man Utd

Alejandro Garnacho cuts in from the left and tests Bernd Leno with a powerful strike. It's straight at the goalkeeper but that's better from United.

  10. Postpublished at 13:39 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

Alex Iwobi tries to sneak into the box, tip-toeing past a few players before losing control of the ball.

  11. KICK-OFFpublished at 13:37 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Fulham 0-0 Man Utd

If Fulham fans need an injection of belief, there is this stat:

Manchester United have lost each of their last five Premier League away games in which they've failed to score in the first half, going on to lose those games by an aggregate score of 13-0...

Off we go again at Craven Cottage.

Noel: United's biggest problem is their slow midfield, the one thing you can't have in the fast-paced Premier League. Even at full pelt, Eriksen, McTominay, and Amrabat are still only trotting! They can't attack as a team because they can't get back.

Charlie: Recent results and performances have not been good at all, but add to that they were supposed to be “winnable” games, coupled with not dominating against lesser sides, and it’s only heading one way. Needs structural change, otherwise history will repeat itself.

Fulham will never have a better chance of changing their poor record against United. The game's there for them with a bit more belief.

  13. 'Both managers will be unhappy at the break'published at 13:28 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    HT: Fulham 0-0 Man Utd

    Dean Smith
Ex-Aston Villa and Brentford boss on BBC Radio 5 Live

Apart from the disallowed goal there has been a real lack of quality at both ends of the pitch.

I don't think either manager will be happy at the break, there is more to come from both of these sides.

Willian has been the best player on the pitch, for Man Utd McTominay and Fernandes have shown some attacking intent but there has been a lack of sustainted pressure or cutting edge.

If you missed it earlier, Fulham fans were protesting prior to kick-off on inflated ticket prices at the club.

Manchester United fans have also brought a "play like you mean it" banner to the away end.

The desperation from United fans to compare Hojlund to Haaland and Ten Hag to Klopp and Pep is astounding. Put four passes together first then we can talk.

Good end to the half by Fulham as they win yet another corner thanks to Alejandro Garnacho's sliding challenge.

Scott McTominay heads it away this time but Willian's cross is then deflected behind.

From the next set-piece, Rodrigo Muniz heads it over the bar, failing to trouble Andre Onana.
