    Arsenal v Burnley (15:00 GMT)

    Chris Sutton
    BBC football expert

Arsenal have got a few injury issues - Bukayo Saka took a knock during their win over Sevilla in the Champions League on Wednesday, and Martin Odegaard missed that game as well as last weekend's defeat at Newcastle United.

But even if both are absent here, I don't see the Gunners having any problems against a Burnley team who have lost their past four league matches and are only off the bottom of the table on goal difference.

The Clarets' home form in particular is deeply concerning, with six defeats out of six so far, and their away record is not much better.

They play high-risk football when they try to play out from the back, but it doesn't look like their manager Vincent Kompany is going to change anything there. Week by week, though, their confidence is getting knocked by every defeat they suffer.

    Sutton's prediction: 3-0

Roy Hodgson always says he never gets too high after a victory or too low after a defeat. If Palace were to win today they'd be level on points with seventh-placed Brighton.

Sean Dyche has recently said that Everton's early-season performances are starting to get rewarded with points. If the Tofees were to win they'd be eight points clear of the relegation zone.

  5. Ten Hag's left-sided defensive woespublished at 14:54 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2023

Man Utd v Luton (15:00 GMT)

    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

Confirmation Jonny Evans is out for up to four weeks with a thigh strain causes Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag another headache on the left side of his defence.

Luke Shaw and Lisandro Martinez would have been automatic picks at full-back and in central defence but have been absent for most of the season.

Tyrell Malacia is yet to play a game and even late recruit Sergio Reguilon has had injury issues.

Ten Hag has surprised some fans by dropping Raphael Varane in favour of Harry Maguire in recent weeks, with some wondering why he couldn't choose them as a pair.

The United manager explained it in his pre-match press conference, when asked if it was one or the other in his starting line-up.

    "Ideally, yeah," he said.

"There are moments in certain games where they can play together and they have already proven they can do it.

"But the build up is not that fluid when one of them is playing from the left centre-back position because you have Licha, obviously and Luke Shaw, obviously.

"Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof are right-footed, but they can play really comfortably with their left and make the right angles, then you can construct a better formation where you can start to play.”

Richard: There are rumours that Varane & Ten Hag have fallen out. Is the fact that Varane is constantly benched in favour of worse centre backs despite being fit a sign of this being true? Surely in must-win games you start your best players

When you see the United line up you have to ask, why keep buying players you're not going to use? And what is the point of a youth team if the players aren't good enough to play?

Man Utd v Luton (15:00 GMT)

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

The last time Luton played here was 1991.

Little wonder most of their fans were inside the ground early and their directors and assorted dignitaries were in their seats well before most regular visitors to Old Trafford.

Their supporters are making a lot of noise, including an adaptation of the 'Old Trafford is falling down' song sung by Manchester City recently.

Given the state of Kenilworth Road, that is a bit of a cheek.

    Arsenal v Burnley (15:00 GMT)

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on Final Score

As Vincent Kompany has alluded to in recent weeks Burnley are making the chances to score, but they can't seem to find the quality to put them away.

Compound that with their defensive frailties and it is worrying. They have been opened up far too easily. There is a naivety about the squad, many players of which have little to no experience of playing in the Premier League.

They've lost their last six games at home so maybe being away is an advantge to them today.

Crystal Palace are well run, they have an experienced manager who does not cause any publicity.

They have decent players and structure. They have lost Wilfried Zaha but the younger players have stepped up.

Palace seem to go under the radar.

    FT: Wolves 2-1 Tottenham

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou speaking to TNT Sports: "It is always a tough game here. Wolves are always going to come on strong and we ran out of legs at the end. It is understandable; a lot of those guys haven't played. They scored a couple of good goals; a hard one to take.

"Wolves are tough to beat and they came at us. We could have been more positive first half. We scored early and played conservatively; we had chances we could have taken."

On pressure in attack without James Maddison: "The game is the same, 11 v 11. We've got to keep playing our football and the chances will come from that."

  16. Sutton's predictionpublished at 14:47 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2023

Man Utd v Luton (15:00 GMT)

    Chris Sutton
    BBC football expert

Manchester United played really well for the first 40 minutes or so against Copenhagen on Wednesday, until Marcus Rashford was sent off.

They were brave on the ball, and used it really well. That didn't last, though.

On the run they are on, this is a nightmare game for them, because Luton showed how resilient and awkward they are in their draw with Liverpool last week.

And, as we head into an international break, this is an absolute must-win game for United manager Erik ten Hag. A draw isn't enough for him.

I don't think he will get sacked if that happens, but it will just continue the conversation about his future and add to the pressure on his shoulders.

Bearing all that in mind, I think United will do just about enough to win it, much like they did at Fulham last weekend - but it won't be easy for them.

    Sutton's prediction: 2-1

  17. Pick of the statspublished at 14:46 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2023

Man Utd v Luton (15:00 GMT)

    • Manchester United have won 18 consecutive home games against Luton, dating back to 1899.
    • This is the first league meeting between the sides since a 1-1 draw at Kenilworth Road in April 1992.
    • United have suffered five defeats in 10 home fixtures this season, their worst start to a campaign at Old Trafford since 1930-31 when they also lost five of 10 and were relegated from the top flight.
    • They could lose three successive home matches for the first time since October 1962.
    • Luton have made their joint-worst start to a league campaign, equalling their previous record of one win, three draws and seven defeats after 11 games first set in 1950-51 and repeated in 1962-63.

I think United can turn it around.

They don't have their strongest starting XI available just yet, and you saw last year when they did have their strongest side available that they were building towards something.

Whether they can go on and at some point challenge for a title, well that is another question indeed.
