Wolves midfielder Mario Lemina speaking to TNT Sports: "It is an amazing feeling. We've been pushing so hard. We deserve this game; we had the best tactic to play against them and we showed it today. I scored the winner and I'm really happy.

"I'm feeling at my best. I'm not getting injured; the fans have supported me. I really love them and the club. I've tried to give back to them. We've been pushing hard, pressing, pressing. The subs did amazing; a good pass from [Matheus] Cunha and what a finish by [Pablo Sarabia].

"We need to think about the international break and the next game but we are going to enjoy this."

  2. Luton aiming for historypublished at 14:41 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2023

It is a - rare - beautiful blue day in Manchester.

The conditions certainly are at odds with the turmoil around Old Trafford, both on the pitch, after nine defeats so far this season, and off it, with uncertainty over when Sir Jim Ratcliffe is going to get his feet under the Old Trafford table - and to what extent.

Amid that uncertainty, Luton come here looking to cause a huge shock.

They have recorded an away win in this fixture, in September 1897. Manchester United were known as Newton Heath and played at Bank Street.

Armchair Football Fan: Huge credit to two subs: 1) Sarabia for unbelievable technique on his goal, and brilliant vision on the assist for the winner. 2) Tommy Doyle for being so alert and quick of thought to take that free kick quickly. Brilliant impact. I'm buzzing.

Teden Mengi only made two senior appearances for Manchester United during his time at the Old Trafford club, both in Europe.

Mengi joined United when he was seven but was finally released this summer after loan spells at Derby and Birmingham.

Today the Manchester-born player gets to play here in the Premier League - trying to stop United from winning.

John: Spurs' only wins against top half opponents have been 9 man Liverpool and crisis-station Man Utd. False position in the table, normal service to resume soon...

  6. Will Mitchell's goal herald more attacking returns for full-back?published at 14:37 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2023

Crystal Palace v Everton (15:00 GMT)

    Alex Howell
    BBC Sport at Selhurst Park

Tyrick Mitchell’s goal against Burnley showed his importance to Palace and he will be hoping that it is the start of more attacking returns.

When the left-back went off injured in the defeat against Tottenham the week before, it highlighted just how much Palace rely on him.

Mitchell is the only senior and specialist left-back in the squad and the Palace back four would be a lot weaker without him in it.

His game has always been based around being solid defensively and his performances earned him a place in the England team in March 2022.

However, he has not been called up since and it could be argued that his attacking output is a part of his game that could be improved.

The finish against Burnley was composed and, if he is able to add some goals and assists to his game, he could force his way back into the international set-up.

Around the time of his England cap, Mitchell was linked with moves to teams in the so-called ‘big six’ but most of those sides require their full-backs to supplement their attack.

Palace are not blessed with a prolific striker so if Mitchell can start chipping in with goals, his manager will be happy. It would also see him continue his progress now he has firmly established himself as a Premier League player after making his debut in 2020.

    Wow.

What a finish to this game. We waited all afternoon for this game to ignite. In all honesty it was a poor second half, but Wolves found a gap.

Molineux springs to life. It is probably not a deserved win for Wolves but who says you have to play well for 90 minutes to win?

  9. Man Utd fans protestpublished at 14:35 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2023

Man Utd v Luton (15:00 GMT)

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

The latest 'Glazers Out' protest is taking place outside Old Trafford.

I nipped out for 10 minutes and whilst there were a lot of banners and quite a bit of noise, there weren't that many present given we are less than an hour to kick-off.

I am expecting Sir Jim Ratcliffe's minority stake in United to be agreed at some point during the international window but there is a lot of uncertainty over precisely how that will work in practice.

Adam: Ridiculous from spurs in the last minute.. Losing the ball in the centre circle when they could have passed back to the keeper.

Now Spurs have to be content with losing ugly, ah the irony.

It was a quick free-kick and the Spurs team switched off.

Mario Lemina has the simplest of tasks to score, Tommy Doyle takes everyone out of the equation with that pass down the right-hand side.

    Wolves have got the winner.

    Bedlam!

Gary O'Neil celebrated the winning goal by sprinting off down the touchline for a leap and a punch.

He's more reserved at the full-time whistle but his smile says it all.

They deserve this win too. Tottenham scored first but offered very little after.

Wolves taking that free kick quickly, catches Spurs out.

Then it is about the run from Lemina, he is dragging himself up the pitch by the end of it. Keeps himself onside and it is the faintest of touches to guide the ball into the far corner.

What a finish it has been to this game!

    THEY'VE WON IT!

Wolves have spent 80-odd minutes spurning chances, but it is the two they've taken late in the game that are the story!

Pablo Sarabia is involved again, sending a neat pass into the box for Mario Lemina to steer into the far side of the net.

Tottenham were top of the Premier League 10 minutes ago. They're not now.

Goal of the season contender from Sarabia! The touch to bring the ball under control while he's still running is outrageous, then a peach of a volley. Simply beautiful.

    Tom

What a touch and finish! Wolves have absolutely bossed this match. The least they deserve.

This place needed igniting much earlier in the game now but that Sarabia goal has definitely done it now.

The goal was outrageous. The finish is one thing but to be able to pull it off in full flight is simply outstanding.
