    Wolves 0-1 Tottenham

Jose Sa is alert to speed off his line and gather the ball in his own box as Spurs try to get Dejan Kulusevski in on goal.

Surely Tottenham are going to get chances here as Wolves have to commit more to attack.

The visitors haven't really been an attacking force in the game since scoring. Certainly not to any consistent extent.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 75 mins

    Wolves 0-1 Tottenham

Bryan Gil and Giovani Lo Celso come on for Spurs. They're digging deeper into that squad.

Off go scorer Brennan Johnson, who may have tweaked something in attempting that shot a few moments ago, and Yves Bissouma, who is on a yellow.

Absolutely guarantee Doherty will be involved in Wolves inevitable equaliser!

    Damien, London

The "passing" from Wolves is some of the worst I've seen this season.

  4. 'Poor set piece quality from Wolves letting Spurs off'published at 14:06 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2023

    Wolves 0-1 Tottenham

    Lucy Ward
Former Leeds striker on TNT Sports

Wolves are really letting Spurs off here in terms of the quality, or lack thereof, of the final ball into the box.

In games as tight as these you need to take advantage of having a free chance to get a good ball into the area from corners and set pieces.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 74 mins

    Wolves 0-1 Tottenham

Wolves need someone who can finish. Is Sasa Kalajdzic that man? He is on for Jean-Ricner Bellegarde.

Chance to seal it for Spurs! They've not had many.

They break and Son Heung-min is away down the right. His low ball finds Brennan Johnson with a sight of the Wolves goal, but he tamely shoves his shot wide.

Am I wrong to expect more from Son in this situation? He needs to have a strong word with his team mates - just keep the ball, play the easy pass, relieve some pressure. This is a really poor performance from Spurs' more senior players in particular.

    Chris

Lo Celso had a good pre-season, has showed his quality at Villarreal and for Argentina - he'd probably suit Ange ball better than previous Spurs styles so I'm not sure why he's not being given a chance here?

    Risky!

Yves Bissouma dives in to halt Matheus Cunha. He gets a bit of the ball but some of the man too. It's just a free-kick, though. No second yellow for the Spurs midfielder.

The free-kick delivery is, again, woeful from Wolves.

Can’t believe all the negative comments from Spurs fans. Half your team is either injured or suspended but you’re still winning 1-0 away from home!! No harm in winning ugly!

Tottenham look like they're playing for a draw... I wouldn't invite Wolves to attack too much; they'll score eventually.
