It's wonderful for Rob Page to have someone like Neco Williams, he can really raise the tempo of a football match.

    Wales 2-0 Gibraltar

Ben Davies sees an effort cleared off the line!

Davies is taking this edict about collectively covering Harry Kane's goals from his club to his country.

He's going to be 'prolific' Ben Davies by the end of this game at the current rate.

  3. CLOSE!published at 31 mins

Charlie Savage almost gets the goal his play has merited, but his effort is shovelled clear by goalkeeper Dale Coleing.

BBC Sport Wales at the Stok Racecourse

The last time Wales played in Wrexham in 2019, it took them 92 minutes to score, with Ben Woodburn grabbing the winner against Trinidad and Tobago.

It's taken 70 minutes fewer on this occasion, with another Ben, stand-in skipper Ben Davies, getting the breakthrough against Gibraltar.

Apart from the injury to Wes Burns, this has been an ideal first half so far for Wales.

If Charlie Savage can match Robbie's stamina, he's going to eclipse his dad, perhaps.

He's definitely got a larger range of passing in his locker.

Former Wales striker on BBC Radio Cymru

It's a great header, he's taken his time, knowing exactly what he wants to do, heading it back the way it comes.

Good vision from Charlie Savage, he's seen Kieffer Moore peeling off the defender but it's a brilliant header from the big man.

A lot to like about that goal.

Firstly, Charlie Savage, great delivery, been the best player on the pitch.

A lovely header from Kieffer Moore, he timed his jump perfectly and his header went in off the post.

    That's a really nice goal!

A lovely cross by Charlie Savage and Kieffer Moore does what he does, heading beautifully back across the goalkeeper.

You couldn't really see where a Wales goal was going to come from and then it came from a simple corner routine.

Wales should be able to release the hand brake a bit now.

    Risky indeed!

Nathan Broadhead loops a corner to the back post and skipper Ben Davies nods home!

    Wales are ahead.

    Wales 0-0 Gibraltar

The ball falls to Jordan James on the edge of the area, but that shot is wayward and heading to Bangor.

But Gibraltar give Wales a corner by playing out from the back.

    That's risky.

Jordan James always seems to pass that ball forward even if it's five or 10 yards, it's so important from a midfielder.

    Iwan Roberts

That needed the smallest of touches from Nathan Broadhead and he'd have scored his second goal for Wales.

Dan James' first set-piece was poor but that was a brilliant ball.

Dangerous cross by Neco Williams, but Nathan Broadhead misses the ball as he has a headed chance at the near post.

It looks like Dan James is coming on so will Rob Page go to four at the back with Regan Poole moving to right back?

Or is he going to ask James to play as a wing back, also does this mean that Dan James isn't playing on Sunday?
