Chelsea looking to get a second to finish the game off and they should've got it but Lauren James pulled her effort wide.

West Ham started the second half brightly with Riko Ueki having a shot deflected wide and Kirsty Smith seeing her strike tipped over the bar by Zecira Musovic.

For Lionesses fans it would have been great to see Fran Kirby impressing in the first half on her first start since February after knee surgery.

Emma Hayes said she would be careful with her recovery and that's what she has done, taking Kirby off after 56 minutes following an excellent performance.

A well-paced through ball and you would have bet on that going in. Lauren James went for the right space but it is dragged wide. It is a poor miss and she should be scoring that.

Chelsea's traditional slow start is continuing a little longer than usual for this season, not least because West Ham are playing so well.
