Gibraltar 0-2 Republic of Ireland
Every time Chiedozie Ogbene gets the ball down the right he injects some pace into the Republic attack.
He was well wide with a speculative shot just there, but Ireland would do well to keep feeding him.
Gibraltar 0-2 Republic of Ireland
Liam Walker plays a free-kick down the left-hand channel.
Ethan Britto had spun cleverly to make a run in behind but he went too early and was flagged offside.
Yep, I did weigh it up and decided that was worth marking as a Gibraltar attack...

It's exactly how the first goal came about with that little play by Chiedozie Ogbene and Matt Doherty. Lovely ball in and Mikey Johnston did really well to react to the ball that came off the post.
You can see how much the Ireland players are enjoying the game. They've controlled the match.
Gibraltar 0-2 Republic of Ireland
Back to the patient build-up play for the Republic as Gibraltar continue to retreat further and further back.
Mikey Johnston 28 mins
Ireland's pressure pays off again as Mikey Johnston gets their second goal.
The damage was done down the right hand side again, and again it was Ogbene feeding Doherty, who delivered the low cross.
Johnston had got across his man at the front post and, while his first strike came off the post, he reached out a leg and volleyed in the rebound almost in the same movement.
Gibraltar 0-1 Republic of Ireland
Lovely play out wide by Mikey Johnston, who dances in from the left and lets fly with a right-foot shot that goes close.
Gibraltar 0-1 Republic of Ireland
Dangerous corner delivered from the right by Ryan Manning is flicked on to Shane Duffy at the far post.
It's a good chance for the big defender but he can't shift his feet quickly enough and prods the ball wide.
That could have been number two for Ireland.
Gibraltar 0-1 Republic of Ireland
Gibraltar force a free-kick in the Irish half and Liam Walker takes it.
He opts for an in-swinger with his left foot but it's straight at Gavin Bazunu who gathers easily.
Gibraltar 0-1 Republic of Ireland
A rare venture into the Ireland half for Gibraltar.
I say venture, but it was more of a long punt upfield that was easily dealt with.
Gibraltar 0-1 Republic of Ireland
We are only 18 minutes into this game but already it has become a case of the Republic being constantly camped in the Gibraltar half and passing it about.
As yet, though, they are struggling to create too many clear-cut chances.
That said, they've just forced another corner.
Gibraltar 0-1 Republic of Ireland
... it was the Republic, by the way. But they did nothing with it.
Gibraltar 0-1 Republic of Ireland
First corner of the game.
No prizes for guessing who it has gone to...
Gibraltar 0-1 Republic of Ireland
That's wasteful from Josh Cullen who tries to force into the box after a patient build-up but it is easily collected by Dayle Coleing in the Gibraltar goal.

It's a great turnout from the Irish fans, fantastic considering the results that they have had. They continue to support the team and get behind the players.
Gibraltar 0-1 Republic of Ireland
The Republic are making hay down the right hand side.
Ogbene and Doherty are combining well and you would have to imagine that could well be their best route to further goals.

The movement from Ferguson was excellent and that should settle things down now for Ireland. It was a lovely ball from Matt Doherty, he made it easy for Evan Ferguson to finish it off.
Evan Ferguson 8 mins
Just the start the Republic and manager Stephen Kenny needed as Evan Ferguson opens the scoring in the eighth minute.
It was fine work down the right by Chiedozie Ogbene, who waited for Matt Doherty to make the overlapping run before releasing him.
His low cross was screaming out to be finished and Ferguson controlled his volley well to score at the near post.
Gibraltar 0-0 Republic of Ireland
Gibraltar look to get in behind the Republic down the inside left channel but Matt Doherty comfortably heads back to goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu.
Five minutes gone and no goalmouth action of note so far.

Any Irish League fans that are joining us and think they recognise the name of the Gibraltar goalkeeper - you do!
It's Dayle Coleing who had a spell with east Belfast side Glentoran.
