That's a heavy challenge from James Brown.

Not really sure what's happened to Jordan White there.

He just runs into Malachi Boateng and then goes down holding his arm. He looks in pain but should be able to soldier on.

First Dundee chance of the half, and guess who?

Finlay Robertson bounds forward as the hosts try to spring a counter, but the youngster's effort tamely trundles into the arms of Ross Laidlaw.

And we're back at it in Dundee.

For all the goals that Simon Murray scores, it feels like he can be a little wasteful at times. That can be the difference between a win and a draw.

Ross County have had better opportunities, but Dundee are the ones - with a small tweak here and there - that have more danger in their game.

If I was Tony Docherty, I'd be hammering home the point that they need to get to the byeline. Take that extra pass, don't panic.

Ross County are more on the front foot than they have been this campaign. Their five shots in the first half is already better than the their season average of 3.4 shots per game.

Despite their willingness to give it a go, they once again have failed to score in the opening 45 minutes. That's seven games out of eight they've gone into the break without a goal, no team in the Premiership boasts a worse record.

Both teams are set up to stop each other. The key area for me is Yan Dhanda. His positional play is really good, he's moving away from Boateng, The question is - can Ross County get him on the ball? They haven't got him on the ball enough so far.

For Dundee, I'd like to see Bakayako get more involved. He's not done enough. Dundee need to get higher up before they put the ball in the box. They need to ask more questions of the defenders. It's been even so far.

From Trevor Carson's expression in that first picture, I'm not sure even he thinks he's saving that.

James Brown wanted Yan Dhanda's corner the most, but the Dundee goalkeeper was equal to the task this time round.

When Dundee are throwing balls in from the byeline, it makes it so difficult for Ross County. As a defender, the last thing you want to be doing is facing your own goal and clearing your lines. It's not enjoyable.

It's been a busy old game, without too many moments of real quality.

Finlay Robertson has been whipping them in, while James Brown had the best chance of the game for the visitors.

Another brilliant ball in from Finlay Robertson. Another chance spurned by Dundee.

This time, Amadou Bakayoko just times the run wrong to meet his teammate's fantastic cross, allowing Ryan Leak to head away.

Robertson really making the most of his start so far.

Things have calmed down a wee bit now. Perhaps for the best. It was properly frantic at points and I was out of breath.

Dundee burst into life and Scott Tiffoney scurries down the left-wing, placing one into the box.

Victor Loturi tracks back to intercept, but the touch is heavy and he very nearly gives the ball straight to Zak Rudden. After some unorthodox defending, the visitors eventually clear.

If Ben Purrington wanted a piggy back off Amadou Bakayoko, he could have just asked.

The County defender launches himself onto the back of his opponent and just, kind of, stays there.

It had a bit of dirty dancing about it. Time of his life, I'm sure.
