That is a poor clearance from Sophie Howard in the end. We do not deserve to have conceded, we have been the better team for the last five, ten minutes or so.

From the resulting corner stopper Daphne van Domselaar isn't under much pressure as she gathers with ease.

I do not think Emslie is expecting it. She thinks the goalkeeper has got it comfortably and it was just out with her reach. That was a big chance.

The delivery was excellent from Emslie but a lack of attacking runs fail to meet the cross' quality.

Roles reversed this time as Emslie takes a touch past her opposite number and stands a cross up at the back post for Hanson to attack.
She's out-jumped in the box but Scotland win it back well and win a corner.

Eh, well, that was something.
Kirsty Hanson gets her head up but her pass is behind Martha Thomas as keeps on going into the hosts' box.
Inexplicably the keeper slides for it but doesn't hold it, allowing Claire Emslie to have the ball at her feet on the edge of the six-yard area but she lunges at it when a touch more composure is needed to try slot it in.
Again, Scotland are going to need some luck to fall their way this evening.

Scotland are set up very defensive, which is fair enough against this quality of attack, but if that's the set-up, Danielle Van de Donk cannot be allowed to breeze in as nonchalantly she did.

It is a good finish in the end but from a Scotland point of view, allowing Van de Donk to get into the box that easily is not good enough.

A swift counterattack from the hosts as the fly up the pitch but Lee Gibson is out in time to smother the through ball.
You sense it's important Scotland just calm down proceedings for a minute or two right now.

That's a bit of a bizarre goal to concede in all honesty.
Kerstin Casparij drifts into the box unchallenged and her deflected cross is similarly left alone by the Scotland defence in the box as Van de Donk ghosts in to tap it home from close range.

Esmee Brugts of Barcelona shows a nice turn of pace out wide, and a few fancy stepovers too, before sending a cross towards the box.
The first one is blocked but only as far as her and thankfully for Scotland, the second attempt is dealt with too.
