Lovely goal from Luton, they really seem to be finding their feet at home this season. Going to be a tough second half but with the crowd behind them I fancy them for a result of some sort!

Everton just look a yard away mentally, a yard away physically from just being able to tie a few passes together and really open the Chelsea team up on the break.

    Everton 0-0 Chelsea

Everton are back in the relegation zone as it stands and there is a bit of tension around Goodison. Dwight McNeil has been in fine form lately and he almost puts the Toffees ahead after a clever piece of skill from outside the box. Good save by Robert Sanchez.

As a United fan not much for us to shout about this season. However, I am enjoying watching City squirm. It won't last, so just drinking it in!

Goals are in their DNA at the moment.

    Terrific, intensive, creative.

Craven Cottage gave them a rousing reception as they departed the pitch.

Once Fulham found their rhythm, they were far too intense for West Ham in that first half. Jimenez’s header for the first goal was like watching him during his prime period with Wolves. The Hammers rescued a London derby when behind during the week. I’m not sure how they do that again here. They look tired.

  12. Howe wants improved away formpublished at 15:01 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2023

    Tottenham v Newcastle (16:30 GMT)

    Newcastle United

Eddie Howe said improving their away form is "absolutely crucial" for Newcastle during a busy December.

The Magpies head into today's game against Tottenham having lost five of their 15 Premier League games this season, with four of those coming away from St James' Park.

On how his side can bounce back from Thursday's loss to Everton, Howe said: "We have to be very positive in our approach. We’re very keen to move on from this game and start to build our away form back to the level it was last year.

"The games that you have with teams around you always take on more importance. They are usually tight, entertaining games and certainly have been for us this season. We’ve usually been able to raise our game for these games and that is what we are going to need to do again.

"We always say it’s season-defining, whatever period we are in. Certainly December is always going to be a big month for us with the sheer number of games we have. Since the last international break we made a pretty good start to that, but we need to pick up our away form. That is absolutely crucial for us and we want to do that as quickly as possible.

"It’s a difficult one. We want to play the same way [in away games], we want to impose ourselves on the game, grab the game and take the initiative. I don’t think we did that well enough against Everton. Hopefully that will change against Tottenham."
