Che Adams' second half goal looked to have given in-form Southampton victory against Watford.

But Rhys Healey's late strike gives the Hornets are a share of the points.

Saints' unbeaten run stretches to a remarkable 12 games but they lose ground on third-placed Leeds United who beat Blackburn in today's early kick-off.

Watford end the day in 10th.

    QPR 2-0 Hull

QPR had won none of their previous 12 Championship games before back-to-back wins. Well now they have gone back-to-back-to-back.

Hull have lost just once in five matches, now that is twice.

Most of the match saw Hull's Liam Delap being thwarted by QPR skipper Asmir Begovic.

Chris Willock changed things just before the interval though picking out the top corner to give the Rs the half-time advantage.

Hull were piling on the pressure, but Asmir Begovic kept them out again and again.

Rs' forward Ilias Chair, who had four assists before today opened his goalscoring account for the Hoops to clinch a two-goal win.

    Huddersfield 1-1 Bristol City

All square in the swirling wind and rain of West Yorkshire.

Bristol City were bright early but did not make it count.

Against the run of play David Kasumu layed on Delano Burgzorg who finished well for a first-half home lead.

Liam Manning must have had some inspiring half-time words, the Robins flew out of the traps catching Huddersfield off guard.

Rob Dickie played a nice pass through to Andreas Weimann down the left who crossed the ball for an easy tap-in for Tommy Conway.

Little action after that, 1-1 seems a fair result for both.

    Rotherham 1-2 Swansea

Swansea City interim boss Alan Sheehan wins the battle of the stand-ins, as Wayne Carlisle's Rotherham slip to a loss.

Charlie Patino's inadvertent opener put the Swans ahead but the reply from Sam Nombe was both welcome and something of a surprise for the Millers faithful.

In the end though, ex-Millers striker Jerry Yates came up with the decider, tucking home to ensure a first win since the end of October.

    Middlesbrough 0-2 Ipswich

    Ipswich celebrateImage source, PA Media

With Leeds winning at lunchtime, Leicester cruising past Plymouth at home and a host of other sides jockeying for position behind them, this win for Ipswich is massive in retaining their Championship position in second.

Goals from Conor Chaplin and Omari Hutchinson gave the Tractor Boys a welcome buffer, as Kieran McKenna's side continue their superb run.

Middlesbrough get a useful litmus test of their ambitions and progress, as Michael Carrick's side come up short against a fearsome attack.

    Cardiff 1-0 Millwall

Remember I told you pre-match how Cardiff have scored the most goals in the league from set pieces...

Well semingly Millwall did not do their research or prep well enough as that was exactly how the Bluebirds pinched the three points from the Lions.

Cardiff had lost three of their last four matches, and won just one of the last 12 meetings between these two sides, so they will be delighted with this late pinch and steal of three points.

Joe Ralls put a corner in from the left, Dimitris Goutas headed in. Millwall goalkeeper Matija Sarkic could have saved it though-he will be gutted.

A comfortable and comprehensive performance from the Championship leaders.

An afternoon to forget for the much-changed visitors.

    Stoke 0-1 Sheff Wed

Sheffield Wednesday do it again under Danny Rohl, popping up with a late winner thanks to Anthony Musaba, at Stoke City.

The win lifts the Owls off the foot of the Championship on goal difference - Rotherham's defeat pending, and makes it three unbeaten.

Stoke had chances to at least pick up a point, notably Ryan Mmaee's poor spot-kick saved by Cameron Dawson and now four straight losses and six without a win.

Jun-ho was a menace but couldn't provide that crucial touch either

    Norwich 0-0 Preston

It's fair to say this wasn't the best of today's Championship encounters.

Norwich and Preston play out a goalless draw which does neither side's hopes of challenging for a spot in the top six come Christmas much good.

    Danny's on a Rohl!

Anthony Musaba has stuck the ball in the Stoke net in stoppage time, picking up a pass from Djeidi Gassama, working his way toward goal and then burying it.

The Wednesday fans can't believe it. The late show is back for the Owls, after a late leveller against Leicester and a end of game riproarer against Blackburn.

A very quiet game springs to life!

Joe Ralls puts a corner in from the left, Dimitrios Goutas heads in.

Reckon Millwall goalkeeper Matija Sarkic could have saved that though, at least based on today's performances I would guess Asmir Begovic may have expected to save that.
