  1. 'Sense of injustice for Cardiff'published at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2023

    Cardiff 0-1 Birmingham

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Cardiff City Stadium

If the atmosphere was flat in the first half, it's livened up in this second half - mainly because of a sense of injustice among the Cardiff fans.

They felt there was a foul on striker Kion Etete at the start of the move which led to Juninho Bacuna's goal for Birmingham just before the break.

Replays suggest they might have reason to feel aggrieved.

  2. goal

GOAL: Coventry 1-0 Southamptonpublished at 20:56 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2023

    Haji Wright (50 mins)

Coventry go one better and find the back of the net this time.

Callum O'Hare was involved of course, this time as creator rather than the potential finisher, as he wins a 50-50 in midfield and slips a perfectly weighted pass to Haji Wright.

Wright steps inside his covering defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis onto his right foot and thunders the ball low past Gavin Bazunu.

Up and running now, are the Sky Blues.

    Ashley Barnes (48 mins)

Borja Sainz scored Norwich's first tonight, and now he has created their second.

Sainz plays the ball across goal and finds Ashley Barnes to finish it off.

    Patson Daka (52 mins)

And just like that, Leicester City lead! What an incredible turnaround.

Two goals in four minutes early in the second half has the King Power Stadium bouncing.

Wilfred Ndidi runs the ball deep and sends a wonderful cross over the keeper and deep to Patson Daka, who leaps practically on the line to scramble home to put the hosts ahead for the first time.

  5. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:55 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2023

    Coventry 0-0 Southampton

Callum O'Hare has just given warning of his talents in the Coventry midfield, striking Milan van Ewjik's centre first-time and clipping the crossbar.

Beauty of a strike on the run. After a nice move from the Sky Blues down the right with Van Ewjik rolled into space by Tatsuhiro Sakamoto.

  6. goal

GOAL: Leicester 1-1 Millwallpublished at 20:52 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2023

    Jannik Vestergaard (48 mins)

Leicester have wasted ZERO time in hitting back after the break.

Jannik Vestergaard meets a Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall cross to beat Millwall goalkeeper Matija Sarkic with a looping header!

The keeper came a long way out to try catch the cross, and it seems that the 'header' may have come off Vestergaard's shoulder in the end.

What an incredible way to get back into the game after the interval.

We are back under way in those five earlier kick-offs.

Are we going to see a seismic upset at the King Power Stadium where strugglers Millwall lead second-placed Leicester City?

    Erm, maybe not...

  8. Postpublished at 20:49 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2023

    HT: Middlesbrough 1-0 Hull

Interestingly animated dialogue between Sam Greenwood and Emmanuel Latte Lath for Middlesbrough as they walk off the pitch.

I wonder if that chance just before the break divided their opinions somewhat... looked like neither player was conceding on their opinions.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:47 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2023

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Hull

One goal in this from Emmanuel Latte Lath for Middlesbrough, who just about deserve the lead.

Hull City have shown signs and glimpses of their talents, but haven't tested Seny Dieng enough really.

Still anyone's game, but advantage Boro, obviously.

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Hull

Middlesbrough roar forward through Sam Greenwood who takes the ball right to the Hull box, and then finds Emmanuel Latte Lath, but from an increasingly wide position his shot is a tame scuff at Ryan Allsop.

Disappointing first-time effort, when he had chances to take a touch.

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Hull

Still playing of course at the Riverside, where it was a 20:00 GMT kick-off.

Nice footwork on the edge of the Middlesbrough box from Hull defender Cyrus Christie sees him release Regan Slater with a reverse pass to the right.

However, the cut-back is easily snaffled by Boro's defence.

    Norwich 1-1 Sheff Wed

Sheffield Wednesday's Bailey Cadamarteri (right) celebrates scoring against NorwichImage source, PA Media

Teenager Bailey Cadamarteri has Sheffield Wednesday level at the break, and actually got a bloodied nose for his efforts.

He threw himself at a flicked header in the box to make it 1-1 after Borja Sainz gave Norwich the early lead.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2023

    QPR 0-0 Plymouth

It remains scoreless at Loftus Road, with the 10-men of Plymouth holding QPR.

The visitors, who are yet to win away form home this season in the league, have been a man down since Dan Scarr was shown a red card for a high challenge after 25 minutes.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2023

    Cardiff 0-1 Birmingham

That late Juninho Bacuna goal has changed the complexion of the game a bit for Birmingham, as it gave Wayne Rooney's side a welcome lead just before the break.

Cardiff had enjoyed some excellent chances, notably through defender Dimitrios Goutas' heading.

But it's the Blues rather than the Bluebirds who are crowing at the break.

  15. goal

GOAL: Cardiff 0-1 Birminghampublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2023

    Juninho Bacuna (45+3 mins)

    Huge goal for struggling Birmingham.

Blues break through Jay Stansfield who finds Siriki Dembele on the right and his ball picks out Juninho Bacuna in the box.

Bacuna draws Runar Runarsson, dinks it over his head, dummies a covering defender and then taps it in on the line.

Supreme confidence and skill. Marvellous goal.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2023

    Leicester 0-1 Millwall

Conor Coady complains to refereeImage source, Rex Features

Millwall have high-flying Leicester City rattled at home.

Tom Bradshaw's early goal is the difference, as the lowly Londoners lead a Foxes side that need a win to return to the top of the table.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2023

    Coventry 0-0 Southampton

    Pensive first 40.

Southampton had some early chances through Adam Armstrong which saw Bobby Thomas block and Ellis Simms clear off the line.

Coventry then came close through Jamie Allen.

  18. Postpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2023

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Hull

Jacob Greaves made a superb block tackle to snare the ball with Middlesbrough looming with Isaiah Jones.

He then loses it, but Lukas Engel's cross from the left rattles into the thigh of Cyrus Christie and is away.

Boro get a sighter from Sam Greenwood, but his curling effort from the edge of the box sweeps wide of the Hull posts.

  19. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2023

    QPR 0-0 Plymouth

That bright Plymouth start will feel a long time ago for the visitors.

Since going a man down, they have been under the pump.

Conor Hazard has been called on to make a few saves, while a cross from Chris Willock looking for Charlie Kelman clips the post.

  20. Postpublished at 20:29 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2023

    Coventry 0-0 Southampton

Coventry so close to opening the scoring in a tight old game.

Southampton breathe a sigh of relief as Jamie Allen just puts his effort wide of the target.
