    Leicester 0-1 Millwall

Leicester City fans are not happy right now, as they feel they have been denied a penalty after Abdul Fatawu was brought down by Wes Harding in the box.

It would be interesting to see if Harding managed to get a touch on the ball with that challenge.

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Hull

Lovely interplay between Middlesbrough's Sam Greenwood and Lukas Engel down the left is keeping Cyrus Christie really busy.

Engel has bombed on a few times.

Christie then shows some composure to pirouette away from a Boro chaser as he was closed down.

Boro forcing the issue for the most part.

    Cardiff 0-0 Birmingham

    Chances at both ends.

Lee Buchanan sends one wide for Birmingham, while big defender Dimitrios Goutas again puts a header close for Cardiff but just over the top.

He's such a threat from balls into the box.

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Hull

How has Isaiah Jones missed here?

Middlesbrough pick up the second ball in midfield after a Hull clearance and it's a lovely pass from Lukas Engel which finds Emmanuel Latte Lath in space outside the box.

He turns, runs at the area before slipping to the right for Jones, but his effort zooms wide of the Hull goal and Boro miss out on a second.

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Hull

Aaron Connolly didn't have much joy during his time at Middlesbrough on loan from Brighton but the Hull City man came close to scoring a moment ago.

Seny Dieng was able to make an easy claim, but it was an opportunity.

Hull's Regan Slater was left limping a moment ago as he walked away from a robust challenge. Some concern for Liam Rosenior.

    Bailey Cadamarteri (32 mins)

A long throw into the box has Norwich scrambling!

They fail to deal with the initial flick on and 18-year-old Bailey Cadamarteri gets on the end of it at the back post to head home the leveller.

It was only about a minute earlier that Norwich almost went 2-0 up, with Ashley Barnes crashing a shot off the underside of the crossbar.

  9. 'Brisk tempo from Blues'published at 20:16 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2023

    Cardiff 0-0 Birmingham

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Cardiff City Stadium

Given they way they've started tonight, Birmingham have not looked like a team who've lost their past five away matches.

Wayne Rooney's side have played at a brisk tempo with Wales midfielder Jordan James impressing, as he has done at this stadium in recent months for Wales.

But Cardiff are gradually getting a grip of things and have had a couple of chances to take the lead.

    Leicester 0-1 Millwall

Leicester City's attempt of a comeback against Milwall is somewhat of a slow burn at the King Power Stadium.

The visitors have done well to frustrate the hosts, playing deep as you would expect against a side that puts a massive emphasis on possession play.

Cardiff have just started to wrest a bit of control of this game and had a decent chance.

Ryan Wintle sent in a free-kick from the right which his Cardiff team-mate Dimitrios Goutas attacked and got a head to but John Ruddy got a strong paw to it and turned it around the post.

Criminal defending from Hull City as Cyrus Christie has the ball pinched by Lukas Engel and suddenly Middlesbrough burst into life.

Engel takes a pass down the left and cuts it back, Isaiah Jones has a shot which pinballs outside the six yard box, and first to it is Emmanuel Latte Lath, who smashes a low strike beyond Ryan Allsop and in.

Plymouth will be wondering how haven't taken an early lead at Loftus Road.

They have had the better of things in the first 15 minute.

After some neat build up work, Morgan Whittaker slashes a shot across goal and it goes narrowly wide.

In the end the Middlesbrough custodian chests it, takes a touch and then scrambles to smash the ball away from danger as Hull come hunting.

That certainly woke the Senegal man up.
