The home side break the deadlock through Brooke Norton-Cuffy!

Bit of controversy but there's no VAR in the Championship and this will stand - a big goal towards the bottom.

It's not going to win any awards for style certainly.

The Arsenal loanee forces a save from Lee Nicholls in the Terriers goal and then manages to smuggle it over the line with the keeper trying to get hold of it.

Town dropping into the bottom three as it stands.

After about 16 minutes of injury time, we have finally got to the break at this one.

The game needed a bit of magic and it got it when Aaron Connolly opened the scoring for the hosts, and it's his strike that is the difference at the break.

Cardiff have had no answer and will certainly need to improve if they are to get anything from this game.

As it stands, the Owls are falling back to the foot of the table.
