It’s Kai HAVERTZ!!!! GET IN! Knew it was his time! Don’t deserve it but he has done it!

As a sub, when you come onto the pitch it's about making an impact. Havertz has certainly done that. They have been so patient with their play and there was that one bit of quality from Saka. Havertz peeled off to the back post and squeezed it through Flekken's legs. You probably have to say Arsenal deserved that. They have just edged it for me here.
Brentford 1-0 Arsenal
Brentford bring on Keane Lewis-Potter and Mathias Jorgensen for Frank Onyeka and Saman Ghoddos.
Kai Havertz
The winner?
Arsenal substitute Kai Havertz heads in at the back post from Bukayo Saka's cross. It goes through goalkeeper Mark Flekken's legs.
That is surely the goal that sends Arsenal top of the Premier League.
Brentford 0-0 Arsenal
Martin Odegaard's cross is headed away by Ethan Pinnock. But here come Arsenal again. Brentford can't get out. Takehiro Tomiyasu has a shot blocked. Arsenal on the ball again.
Brentford 0-0 Arsenal
Neither team deserve to win this really. Brentford hack the ball away.

Nketiah chose the wrong option there. He went for the Thierry Henry curled shot with the inside of his right foot. He should really have fed Saka who was just peeling off. He has the quality to do that.

It comes out to the edge of the box and it is bobbling up. There wasn't too much real quality in it and Flekken had it covered. He dived for the cameras.
Brentford 0-0 Arsenal
Chance for Arsenal to win it... but Eddie Nketiah basically passes the ball to Mark Flekken. A bit harsh maybe but it needed more power. And accuracy.

Top class defending from Zinchenko saving us from going behind. We have not been good today. We’ve been awful if we are being honest apart from an offside goal that was rightly given offside.
Paul
Brentford 0-0 Arsenal
Woof. A cross is cleared out to William Saliba, who lets it bounce and smacks a 25-yard half-volley which sails wide. Was never going in really.
Brentford 0-0 Arsenal
It's a bit end to end now. Both teams have realised time is running out. Will there be a winner?
Brentford 0-0 Arsenal
Good keeping by Mark Flekken to basically grab the ball off Kai Havertz's head from a cross.
Brentford 0-0 Arsenal
Referee Tim Robinson has talked to a load of players at corners today. He does so again.
When it comes in he immediately blows his whistle for a free to Brentford.
Brentford 0-0 Arsenal
First-time shot from Declan Rice just outside the box, blocked well by Frank Onyeka and it goes for an Arsenal corner.
Brentford 0-0 Arsenal

It was Zinchenko there on the line who blocked it. Again, Brentford really putting the pressure on Arsenal. I think it was Maupay who headed it and Ramsdale was beaten, but Zinchenko did superbly to get there and stop it.
Brentford 0-0 Arsenal
Kai Havertz replaces Gabriel Martinelli for Arsenal and Leandro Trossard will go out wide.
Brentford 0-0 Arsenal
Brentford are unbeaten in each of their last 14 Premier League London derbies (W8 D6 L0), since a 3-0 home defeat by the Gunners in September 2022.
