They take all three points to move up to third, four points behind leaders Girona and a point back form Real Madrid.

Real Sociedad will wonder how they've lost that game. They stay sixth, now six points off the Champions League places.

There is barely time to kick-off again after that goal before the full-time whistle goes.

It's a real smash-and-grab from Barcelona. They were second best for much of the game but they leave with the three points thanks to Ronald Aruajo's stoppage-time header.

Nervy times for Real Sociedad as Alex Remiro is called into action to keep out a thumping long-range drive from Ronald Araujo.

It gifts possession to Ferran Torres in the final third but his long-range effort is blocked.

Raphinha is bursting through the middle of the pitch but Martin Zubimendi is having none of it.

The home fans are furious as the referee waves play on when Takefusa Kubo appeared to be taken out just inside the Barcelona half.

Barca take advantage and move forward but Pedri's low shot is blocked.

Had that resulted in a goal, you better believe the crowd at the Reale Arena would have let the referee know about it!

Ander Barrenetxea has been lively throughout, especially in the first half but his day is done.

Mohamed-Ali Cho is on to replace him for Real Sociedad.

There is a bit of a lull in what has been a fairly frenetic second half with both sides pressing with real intensity.

I doubt it'll last long. Both sides will fancy they can snatch the three points.

After a good spell for Real Sociedad, Barcelona break and it takes a deliberate hand ball from Igor Zubeldia to stop the ball getting to Ferran Torres.

Raphinha goes for goal from the resulting free-kick. It's a long way out but not a bad effort and the ball lands on the top of the net.

Real Sociedad threaten again.

It's Takefusa Kubo showing his pace down the right, racing along the by-line but Pedri slides in the stop the cut-back reaching a Real Sociedad player.

Jules Kounde's header only gets a long throw away as far as Ander Barrenetxea on the corner of the box.

The winger takes the volley on first time, connects well and Marc-Andre ter Stegen is forced to make another smart save, low down to his left.

Short corner from Real Sociedad and the ball is played back to Takefusa Kubo.

He puts in a brilliant cross from the right but it's met by a Barcelona head.

Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix head off with Raphinha and Lamine Yamal coming on.

Xavi is trying various combinations to get his side going. All with limited success so far.

Really clever ball over the top by Mikel Merino to find Mikel Oyarzabal.

The Real Sociedad captain goes down under the challenge of Jules Kounde but the referee plays on.

There is a VAR check and it looks like there was definitely contact on Oyarzabal. Not enough to warrant a spot kick, though, says the video official.

First change for Real Sociedad and it sees Aritz Elustondo introduced in place of Hamari Traore.

Traore is not happy at all and makes that clear as he makes his way to the bench. He looked like he might have sustained an injury so perhaps that is what frustrated him so much?
