    Rotherham 1-1 Ipswich

A rare Rotherham attack. Dexter Lembikisa pirhouettes and whips in a testing cross from the right which debutant Axel Tuanbeze has to slam behind under immense pressure (illegal in his opinion) from Sam Nombe.

    Corner comes to nought, however.

George Hirst and Daniel AyalaImage source, PA Media

Harry Clarke really should have done better with this free header.

Daniel Ayala can't get to grips with big George Hirst and it opens space up for Clarke to meet Leif Davis' curling corner with a downward header which squirts a couple of yards past the upright when he should have at least worked the keeper.

  3. League Two half-time scorepublished at 20:41 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2023

Swindon lead Colchester 1-0 thanks to Jake Young's goal in tonight's only fixture in the fourth tier.

Coming into the game, Colchester had won their last two games - both away from home - with those victories coming off the back of a four-game losing streak.

The Robins are in a bit of a sticky patch at present with only one win in six league matches - but they will go into the play-off spots with a win tonight.

    Rotherham 1-1 Ipswich

Viktor Johansson showing why he's one of the better keepers in the Championship.

The big Swede could do nothing about the postage-stamp opening goal but has come off his line to claim a couple of high crosses with aplomb in the last 10 minutes.

He's been by far the busier keeper since the opening five minutes.

    • Martial Godo's seventh-minute strike to put Wigan in front at home to Peterborough remains the difference between the two sides at the break.
    • Bolton have four wins from five and have been scoring goals for fun of late, but they haven't been able to find a way past Shrewsbury yet tonight.
    • They're still playing in the first half of the 20:00 GMT kick-off between Reading and Bristol Rovers. The Royals are trying to halt a seven-match winless run but it remains goalless so far.

    Rotherham 1-1 Ipswich

Half a shout for a penalty from Ipswich forward George Hirst there, latching onto Harry Clarke's ball down the right of the area.

Hakeem Odofin looks like he's clipped the back of his calf but the way Hirst hit the deck might have put the referee off.

Sam Clucas a touch fortunate to avoid a booking there after sliding in from behind to try and stop the marauding Marcus Harness in midfield on the counterattack.

He says he got the ball... the ball of Harness' foot perhaps.

    Rotherham 1-1 Ipswich

Millers defender Cohen Bramall gives half the Rotherham fans kittens as he controls a cross from the Ipswich left in his area and decides to dribble his way up the field, playground-style.

He is caught in possession about 25 yards from goal but the visitors are unable to make him pay on this occasion.

Ten men behind the ball for Rotherham for much of the last few minutes.

    Rotherham 1-1 Ipswich

There will be no fifth consecutive 1-0 defeat for Town at Rotherham, at least.

Can the visitors build on the momentum that strike has given them? Rotherham have begun brightly but there's no way that goal hasn't taken a lot of wind out of their sails.

Wigan are still leading Peterborough by that early Martial Godo goal as the clock ticks past the half-hour mark.

Posh are unbeaten in nine league games (W5 D4), which is their longest such run since going 10 without defeat from March to April 2013 in the Championship.

Victor Adeboyejo has gone close for free-scoring Bolton but they remain level at 0-0 after half-an-hour or so against Shrewsbury.

Reading and Bristol Rovers are only about 20 minutes in - that was a later kick-off - and that's goalless too.

    Alex Mathie
Ex-Ipswich Town striker on BBC Radio Suffolk

Cool as you like - everyone is looking for the cross to the back post, but they take it back to the 18-yard line and Morsy is lurking with intent in the D. He just curls it into the corner so perfectly. He had a huge amount to do, what a great finish.

    What a goal.

Leif Davis shapes to whip a free-kick from out wide into the middle but instead he slides it across the area to Sam Morsy, lurking in the D. Morsy clips his first-time effort across the diving Viktor Johansson and into the top corner.

Straight off the training ground and straight into the top bins.

Morsy's first goal in nine months is a special one.

  13. CLOSE!published at 15 mins

    Rotherham 1-0 Ipswich

Rotherham have won a string of corners and the latest of them has been half-cleared to Christ Tiehi who controls and then unleashes a venemous, swerving half-volley from nearly 25 yards out which flies inches over the crossbar with Vaclav Hladky at full stretch to his right.

Great effort. Rotherham well on top.

  14. League Two latestpublished at 20:16 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2023

We have a goal in the sole League Two fixture of the night and it's Swindon who have gone in front away at Colchester.

Jake Young is the man on target with a well-struck left-footed shot from just outside the box.

Swindon of course looking to get back to winning ways tonight after that extraordinary 7-4 defeat to Aldershot in the FA Cup on Saturday.

    Rotherham 1-0 Ipswich

Rotherham look handy, you know. Their fans are enjoying this.

Ipswich's on the other hand are disgruntled, grumbling about decisions and generally feeling a bit hard done by so far.

They are not used to being behind this season, although they have had to come from behind at Huddersfield and Birmingham to keep their unbeaten run away from home going of late...

Conor Chaplin sees an effort blocked behind by Hakeem Odofin as Ipswich seek to bounce back immediately.

The set-piece comes to nothing, however.

    Well, well, well.

Leif Davis is crowded out on the Ipswich left, Fred Onyedinma picks his pocket and drives down the right before delivering a beautiful low cross to the far post where the Millers' record signing Sam Nombe slides in to score his first goal for his new club.

For the fifth time in a row the Millers lead Ipswich 1-0 here. They won the last four...

  18. League One latestpublished at 20:03 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2023

We have three games in League One tonight and the first goal has just been scored in the third tier.

It's gone to Wigan who have taken an early lead at home to high-flying Peterborough, with Martial Godo poking home Jordan Jones’ cross from close-range.

It's still goalless between Shrewsbury and Bolton, which also kicked-off at 19:45 GMT.

Reading v Bristol Rovers was a 20:00 GMT kick-off so that's just got under way.
