    Horsham 0-3 Barnsley

Penny for the thoughts of Cray Valley Paper Mills players just now.

They're a league below Horsham and host Charlton of League One in an FA Cup first-round replay on Wednesday.

They'll hope the Addicks don't turn up in the kind of clinical mood the Tykes have this evening...

Just a moment after Joel Randall chipped the ball home to make it 1-1 for League One side Peterborough at League Two Salford, Ephron Mason-Clark has put the visitors in front.

Accrington's all-League Two tie against Doncaster has seen Joe Pritchard's near-post finish give John Coleman's side the lead.

After a 0-0 draw earlier this month, National League side York have scored the first goal of their tie against sixth-tier Chester through Lenell John-Lewis.

GOAL: Forest Green 2-0 Scarboroughpublished at 20:05 Greenwich Mean Time 14 November 2023

    Kyle McAllister (18 mins)

Despite winning the penalty Troy Deeney doesn't take the spot-kick and instead hands the ball to Kyle McAllister.

He steps up and firmly buries it to make it 2-0 and give the League Two side a buffer.

  4. PENALTY: Forest Greenpublished at 20:04 Greenwich Mean Time 14 November 2023

    Forest Green 1-0 Scarborough

Troy Deeney is brought down in the box by Scarborough keeper Ryan Whitley as he tries to go around him.

The referee instantly points to the spot.

    Forest Green 1-0 Scarborough

And Teddy Jenks has ANOTHER opportunity to score.

A Scarborough mistake gifts him his third shot on goal but somehow he misses the target and puts his effort wide with just the keeper to beat.

    That's a big let-off for Scarborough.

    Horsham 0-3 Barnsley

The scoreline is probably a bit harsh on the home side.

They've looked quite tidy when they've had the ball and passed it around with some intent.

However, their higher-level opponents have been ruthless with their chances and look like they'll score whenever they get within 30 yards of the Hornets' goal.

    Forest Green 1-0 Scarborough

Teddy Jenks has a decent chance to double his tally for the evening.

The ball comes through to him somehow but his touch is a bit heavy and he's then tackled before he can get his shot away. He would have been in a one-on-one with the keeper, then.

    Forest Green 1-0 Scarborough

Don't count Scarborough out of this fixture just yet.

The visitors take a free-kick and it gets the net shaking although sadly the ball is on the wrong side of it.

    John McAtee (27 mins)

    Beautiful goal.

An absolutely superb chip from John McAtee puts this to bed early.

Jordan Williams plays the ball over the home defence for McAtee's run.

He kills it with a great first touch and, with Hornets goalkeeper Lewis Carey coming off his line, sends a brilliant effort floating over the keeper's head.

    Class.

Tom Barkhuizen celebrates a goal for DerbyImage source, PA Media

League One Derby County left it late to stay in the FA Cup in the original fixture, but this time they had an early lead against League Two Crewe.

Tom Barkhuizen's close-range finish followed Louie Sibley's square ball - but the Alex quickly levelled through Aaron Rowe.

Salford led twice at League One Peterborough earlier this month, and this time the fourth-tier side are in front at home.

Curtis Tilt's header has the home fans cheering.

Reality biting for the non-league sides up against EFL opposition so far this evening...

  12. goal

GOAL: Grimsby 1-0 Slough Townpublished at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 14 November 2023

    Rekeil Pyke (6 mins)

A bit against the run of play these few early minutes but Grimsby won't mind one bit as they score and go a goal in front.

Arthur Gnahoua fires in a shot and it hits a defender and falls neatly to Rekeil Pyke who puts it into the net with relative ease.

    Teddy Jenks (4 mins)

The perfect start for Forest Green who take the lead only four minutes in.

Fantaky Dabo sends the ball into the box, Teddy Jenks brings it down and thanks to a pretty hefty deflection it goes into the net for the opener.

League Two leads National League North.

Barnsley are without four first-team regulars tonight because of international call-ups.

Tykes boss Neill Collins will be very pleased with how his charges have set about this task this evening.

    Horsham 0-2 Barnsley

The free-kick is hung up to the back post and Jack Brivio heads it back into a dangerous area.

The away side are well-positioned though and they clear the danger.

Credit where it's due, Horsham have responded well to that second Barnsley goal.

They're looking to pass the ball around and try to make some openings, and they've got a free-kick in a decent area.

Elsewhere, there is an all-League Two tie between Accrington Stanley and Doncaster, who drew 2-2 last time out.

Port Vale travel to Burton after a 0-0 draw in their first tie, while League One Derby have the advantage of a home replay against Crewe after scoring two late goals in the 89th and 93rd minutes to avoid an early FA Cup exit.

Peterborough also had to rely on a very late equaliser to salvage their hopes in a 2-2 draw with Salford. While Posh have to travel to Salford this time around, they can do it safe in the knowledge they won 3-0 this time last year when the two teams also met in the FA Cup first round.

And finally, York and Chester meet again after a goalless draw in their last outing. Sixth-tier Chester last reached the second round in 2014-15, while York fans have waited since 2010-11 to get beyond the cup's first round.

    John McAtee (10 mins)

Long, LONG way back now for Horsham.

A ball is clipped down the inside left channel for Aiden Marsh.

The young forward does well to send over a quality delivery to the back stick and John McAtee, an FA Cup quarter-finalist with Grimsby last season, is there to volley home.

    This could get ugly...
