Fulham manager Marco Silva, when asked about the form of ex-Wolves striker Raul Jimenez, who scored his first Fulham goal last time out against Aston Villa, said: "It's been tough for him. Now, I hope he can keep working hard. He never gave up. We are going to see more confidence from him, for sure.

On tonight's opponents Wolves, Silva added: "A tough team to play against. First, we have to react to back-to-back defeats. We want to show a reaction."

    BBC Radio 5 Live

Former Wolves midfielder David Edwards on BBC Radio 5 Live: "Wolves have done a lot better than expected after losing Julen Lopetegui on the eve of the season. Gary O'Neil has done a really good job. Both teams aren't that free-scoring. It may not be one for the neutral but certainly for the fans, it'd be good to get a win.

"He has done a fantastic job. To turn around the club and get that connection with the fans has been remarkable. he has changed people's opinions, there is no doubt about that. They have been so unlucky with VAR decisions too. It has been a great start for Wolves. They were tipped for relegation but I think they will be around midtable come the end of the season."

Fulham's current squad includes former Wolves players Raul Jimenez and Adama Traore, who helped them to successive seventh-placed finishes in the Premier League and a run to the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

Wolves boss Gary O'Neil said: "Those two are still spoken about warmly round here. Sometimes the timing means you don’t get the farewell you’d have liked, but that hasn’t changed how people think of them here."

Mexico striker Jimenez scored 40 goals in the Premier League for Wolves before moving to Fulham in the summer, with his goal against Aston Villa last time out being his first in Cottagers' colours.

Lightning fast Spain winger Traore also left Molineux in the summer for south west London, but won't feature today as he's out with a hamstring injury.

More on the game shortly, but first a look back with some reaction to the sad news from this weekend.

Yesterday, it was announced that former England manager Terry Venables had died at the age of 80 after a long illness.

Venables managed England from 1994 to 1996, most notably leading them to the semi-finals of Euro 96 on home soil.

A former England player, he also managed Barcelona and Tottenham.

"We are totally devastated by the loss of a wonderful husband and father who passed away peacefully yesterday after a long illness," read a family statement.

"We would ask that privacy be given at this incredibly sad time to allow us to mourn the loss of this lovely man who we were so lucky to have had in our lives."

Venables won La Liga and reached the European Cup final with Barcelona, and lifted the FA Cup with Tottenham.

As a player, he won two England caps and made more than 500 club appearances between 1960 and 1975, largely for Chelsea, Queens Park Rangers and Tottenham.
