It is one of the biggest weekends in the calendar for Blackpool as Strictly Come Dancing decamps to the Tower Ballroom for this evening's extravaganza.

But little more than a brisk walk away from the Tower is Bloomfield Road, the scene of our second League One game taking place this afternoon.

Rather than a perfect 10 from the judges, all Blackpool and Shrewsbury will be concerned about is three valuable points.

The Tangerines have only won one of their last five, but victory would take them level on points with Barnsley in sixth.

Shrewsbury claimed a dramatic win seven days ago over Reading, but their away form is poor with four points from eight games.

That will need to change if they are to stop their hosts from waltzing off with the points.

The only point Michael Skubala took from three games as Leeds' interim boss was in a 2-2 draw at Manchester United

It would not be an EFL Saturday if we didn't have a new manager somewhere. So step forward Michael Skubala as he takes charge of Lincoln City for the first time.

Skubala did have three games as interim boss of Leeds United in the Premier League in February, which included two matches against Manchester United.

But this is his first permanent senior role and he begins with a trip to Broadhall Way.

On the opposite dugout will be Steve Evans, a veteran of EFL football. Evans' teams are never shrinking violets and Skubala will have a good idea what League One is all about come 5pm.

They've righted the wrong of the last two performances, but there has to be questions asked about that second half.

Notts move up to third after what turned out to be a less comfortable win than thought at half-time.

Four-nil up at the break, Bradford gave it a real go in the second half.

Brindley's own goal and Jamie Walker's second gave Notts a real scare, but that's a fourth straight league defeat for the Bantams.

They stay 18th and new boss Graham Alexander's wait for a first point goes on.
