Are we 45 minutes away from Cray Valley's first-ever win in the FA Cup proper?

The first round replays always yield some cracking stories and last night's collection was no different.

I think the Cray Valley manager will be telling his players to believe in yourself more with the ball.

They've defended well and they've got a nice shape, but when they've got the ball they've lacked a bit of belief.

They've got to get a bit more support for the front man and try and get up the pitch a bit, because it'll be a long second half if they play like they did in the first.

There was no magic of the cup for non-leaguers Horsham on Tuesday night as they were ousted from the competition by League One side Barnsley.

Scarborough Athletic and Slough Town also fell to league sides Forest Green and Grimsby respectively.

It's come from nowhere.

Charlton had done alright in the game and controlled it quite well.

Cray Valley defended reasonably well, but Charlton had got the goal, you could sense the relief in their play, they were keeping the ball.

But that wonderful pass to put Lisbie in has changed the game and turned it on its head.

This will reignite the old VAR debate about the FA Cup.

It's not employed in this competition at non-Premier League grounds.

Replays suggest Charlton keeper Sam Walker's challenge on Kyrell Lisbie was outside the area.

It wouldn't have been a penalty - but it might have been a red card rather than a yellow, so perhaps it evened itself out?

Former Charlton striker Kevin Lisbie on BBC Two on his son Kyrell's penalty:

"I didn't watch it (the penalty), but Danny told me that he scored.

"He made a good run which I always tell him to do so he's got in behind the defence and got in front of the keeper and nice and brave as well.

"I'm not sure what that stutter's about - I've never been a fan of that.

"On an occasion like this to do that shows some guts because I wouldn't have done that, so fair play to him."

The opener seems an age ago now - but what a cracking goal it was.

And breathe.

It was all Charlton for the opening 35 minutes and when Alfie May tucked them ahead, a serene evening looked on the cards.

But Kyrell Lisbie's penalty has really put the cat among the pigeons.

It looked offside to me, but look at the headers they're winning.

Lee wins the first one and it's probably about a yard off, but very close.

Goodness me, the entire Artic Stadium holds its breath as Kyrell Lisbie races clear again...

But this time he's halted by a marginal offside flag as the assistant sticks a pin in the balloon and lets all the air out of the atmosphere here in London.

Talk about turning this cup tie on its head.

But also, it has to be said, is it only a yellow card because it looks like a goalscoring opportunity.

He clearly gets to the ball first and he kicks straight through him. He's lucky to stay on the pitch.

Kyrell Lisbie goes through and gets the ball before Charlton keeper Sam Walker, who kicks him in the leg.

It looks outside the area but a penalty is given. No VAR remember...

The keeper's lucky to stay on the pitch to be fair... gets only a yellow.

Just to see that, let alone attempt it!

It's falling out of the sky and such is his confidence he thinks he can just loop it over Freeman.

Oh, Alfie May's tail is up, all right.

The ball drops out of the sky and, 35 yards out, he spots Cray keeper Sam Freeman off his line, and unleashes a volley that sails over the stopper but wide of the goal.

Cray Valley go close to an instant response as Arthur Lee's towering header finds Matthew Vigor.

He pulls the ball back for Sonny Black in the Charlton area but his shot is blocked and the Addicks crowd him out.
