    Portsmouth go six points clear at the top of League One with this third win on the bounce.

    Bolton had won 10 of their last 11 matches in all competitions but, perhaps shocked by conceding close to half-time, never picked up in the second half.

    Dion Charles somehow missed an open goal from six-yards out for Wanderers at 0-0 and that in the final reckoning proved a huge turning point.

    A goal just before half-time from Conor Shaughnessy in a very even first half.

    But Pompey dominated the second period and clinched the game through Kusini Yengi close to the end of the 90.
