Scotland manager Pedro Martinez Losa speaking to BBC One: "I think there hasn't been a conversation [about Team GB]. The professionalism in this group is beyond doubt, so we don;t have to discuss it. It is more from outside.

"We are going to compete until the very last minute in this game, that is what we always do, to make sure we make our fans proud and that we have a chance to win the game."

England

England manager Sarina Wiegman speaking to BBC One: "The most important thing is the right balance, we don't want to concede goals but we really want to go for goals too. I think we did that pretty good second half against the Netherlands, the urgency was really high.

"There is lots of eagerness in the team. It is going to be a very competitive game and we hope to go forwards all the time and that we are composed."

I think it is ridiculous to discuss anyone's professionalism coming into these games.

These players want to be competing against the best.

They have been put in a very bizarre position that needs to be addressed further down the line, but every Scotland player will want to be beating England tonight.

Both anthems, as you'd expect, belted out.

England need to start tonight's match as they ended the game against the Netherlands.

Free-flowing football, scoring goals, being aggressive in the press. They also need to be getting closer to Lauren Hemp or whoever is playing up at the top of the pitch.

A big, big performance is needed tonight against this Scottish team.

Fans inside Hampden are being treated to a light show, just one side of the stadium is open to fans and the customary 'Freed from Desire' is being blasted out on the sound system.

There's a decent pocket of England fans away to my left, but they are obviously outnumbered by blue and white.

Defeat number 24 was last time out between the sides, a narrow 2-1 win for Lionesses.

England went into a two-goal lead at the Stadium of Light through Lucy Bronze and Lauren Hemp.

But Scotland rallied and pulled one back through Kirsty Hanson, who then hit the cross bar.

The Scots were fuming to be denied a penalty for a shove on Martha Thomas, a decision that will still sting.

Scotland have lost 24 of their 27 matches against England in all competitions, having won two and drawn one.

The last time the Scots defeated the Auld Enemy was back in March 2011.

Goals from Kim Little and Jen Beattie gave Scotland the 2-0 victory.

It's going to be a fierce game, both in terms of physicality and competitiveness from both of these teams.

By no means are Scotland going to take their foot off the accelerator in terms of performance.

Regardless of what it could mean for their own selection further down the line [at the Olympics], it is a huge rivalry and both sets of players will want to win.
