Dunfermline manager James McPake tells BBC Scotland: "Bitterly disappointing. We got exactly what we deserved from the game.

"Credit to Raith Rovers, the better team won tonight and we were nowhere near it. They played a different way; we've got to look at ourselves because that wasn't good enough.

"We need to get back to winning games and need to get performance levels back up."

Another of Rovers' goal-scorers, Lewis Vaughan, has been talking to BBC Scotland: "Different class. I thought the boys were excellent to a man.

"We dug in and worked really hard. On our day we're a right good side. We always felt comfortable and we're delighted with the result.

"We've not had a Scottish Cup run in a while, so I'd like a home tie."

Raith Rovers manager Ian Murray tells BBC Scotland: "Thought we deserved to win the game. Some of the football we played in the first half was really good.

"We weathered a wee period in the second half where they threw a few things at us, and then the second and third goals kill the game.

"Really proud of the players. I threw a 3-6-1 formation at them yesterday and asked them to go show how good they are.

"Dunfermline are a good side, they've shown that this season. I trust the players so much and they keep delivering."

Nothing went right tonight for Dunfermline, which was typified by Lewis McCann's penalty, saved by Kevin Dabrowski.

Rovers goal-scorer Sam Stanton tells BBC Scotland: "It feels great, we're delighted. Funny coincidence, they just keep falling to me [against Dunfermline].

"Any local derby win is great, but in the Scottish Cup and away from home, it was really good.

"We were definitely the better team tonight. We played really well and deserved to go through."

Dunfermline's use of the ball was poor, all the quality came from Raith Rovers.

They showed a different side to their game in the second half, where they had to deal with a wee bit of pressure.
