  1. goal

GOAL Dunfermline 0-3 Raith Roverspublished at 70 mins

    Lewis Vaughan

Lewis Vaughan finds the back of the net, and Rovers will be in the hat for the fourth round of the Scottish Cup.

Deniz Mehmet won't want to see this one back. He was probably expecting a cross rather than a shot from Vaughan, but he should still be saving that.

    Dunfermline 0-2 Raith Rovers

Ross Millen goes down right on the edge of the box under basically no contact, and Raith Rovers have another set-piece opportunity.

A third goal would kill the game...

And Clyde have taken the lead at New Douglas Park.

Is Ian McCall on his way to a first win in charge?

  4. goal

GOAL Dunfermline 0-2 Raith Roverspublished at 65 mins

    Sam Stanton

He just loves scoring against Dunfermline.

It's against the run of play, but Ian Murray and Rovers won't care one bit.

Josh Mullen's free-kick drops to Sam Stanton six yards out and he emphatically slams home to double the visitors' lead.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 64 mins

    Dunfermline 0-1 Raith Rovers

Ewan Otoo goes into the book for catching Dylan Easton late, and it gives the visitors a chance to get the ball into the box.

    Dunfermline 0-1 Raith Rovers

It's been a far more even contest in this second half, with Dunfermline playing much higher up the park and asking questions of the Rovers defence.

Ian Murray's side have had the answers so far though.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 57 mins

    Dunfermline 0-1 Raith Rovers

Another yellow card, this time for Callum Smith, who barges Kane Ritchie-Hosler to the ground.

Probably a wee bit harsh that one.

  8. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 56 mins

    Dunfermline 0-1 Raith Rovers

Rovers hit the frame of the goal for the second time tonight, as Josh Mullen's deflected effort bounces clear off the bar.

The Dunfermline goal is leading something of a charmed life.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 54 mins

    Dunfermline 0-1 Raith Rovers

Jack Hamilton is booked by Willie Collum for scything down Paul Allan.

  10. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Dunfermline 0-1 Raith Rovers

James McPake turns to his bench in an attempt to change this game.

Matty Todd is on for Alex Jakubiak, while Kane Ritchie-Hosler replaces Joe Chalmers.

    Dunfermline 0-1 Raith Rovers

Excellent play from Dunfermline, who have clearly come out with James McPake's words ringing in their ears.

However, Lewis McCann completely duffs his effort from the edge of the box after some nice play down the left-hand side.

  12. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Dunfermline 0-1 Raith Rovers

Right, I've got myself a cuppa and even found some biscuits at the back of the cupboard.

I'm ready to go for the second half, and so are the players, who are back out in chilly Dunfermline.

Will the hosts come back into the contest, or can Rovers continue their dominance from the first half?

Rovers look like a side used to winning.

Their work-rate is phenomenal. They have looked so dangerous, and Dylan Easton has been absolutely sensational.

    HT: Clyde 0-0 Jeanfield Swifts

It's goalless at New Douglas Park in the other Scottish Cup tie of the night.

    Doesn't sound like a classic.

    HT: Dunfermline 0-1 Raith Rovers

    Leanne Crichton

As good as Raith Rovers have been, Dunfermline have been equally poor, and you could hear that from the supporters.

Their quality in possession has been miles off it.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2023

    Dunfermline 0-1 Raith Rovers

Jack Hamilton's goal deservedly has Raith Rovers in front at the break, and there's a smattering of boos from the home fans as Willie Collum blows his whistle.

Dunfermline will be glad to still be in the contest.

When I look at Dylan Easton, I think he can step up to the top flight, no question about it.

  18. CLOSE!published at 42 mins

    Dunfermline 0-1 Raith Rovers

Dylan Easton leaves another Dunfermline defender in his wake, but this time his cross from the left is just about hacked clear.

He's been the best player on the park so far.

  19. Postpublished at 40 mins

    Dunfermline 0-1 Raith Rovers

    Much better from Dunfermline.

Lewis McCann cuts inside onto his left foot, and looks like he's going to let fly, but instead slips in a lovely through ball to Paul Allan.

The midfielder isn't expecting it though and can't get the ball under control.

    Dunfermline 0-1 Raith Rovers

Deniz Mehmet's heart would have been in his mouth for a split second there, as the home goalkeeper slips in possession.

Thankfully for him, he recovers quickly enough to clear before Lewis Vaughan could pounce.
