  1. 'This formation really suits Wales'

    HT: Wales 0-0 Germany

    Katie Sherwood

Former Wales midfielder on Match of the Day Wales

It's a really good structure for Wales and we're really limiting the space Germany can operate in.

    That's credit to the organisation.

I think this formation really suits Wales.

  2. Post update

    HT: Wales 0-0 Germany

    Kath Morgan

Former Wales captain on BBC Radio Cymru

What we don't want now is for it to be a game of two halves.

Teams like Germany, they can lift the tempo and pick up the speed of the game when needed.

So we'll see what type of second half we get.

  3. HALF-TIME - Wales 0-0 Germany

The half-time whistle goes and Wales have to be very pleased with their efforts so far.

It has been an even contest, with Wales coming closest to breaking the deadlock.

We are into one minute of added time at the end of the first half.

  5. Post update

    Wales 0-0 Germany

    Kath Morgan

They're playing for pride, but the first half has been one without any mistakes, to be fair.

  6. Post update

    Wales 0-0 Germany

    Jo Price

Former Wales goalkeeper on BBC Radio Wales

That was a close one there, watched by Olivia Clark.

She had lots of space on the edge of the box.

    A lucky escape for Wales.

  7. Post update

    Wales 0-0 Germany

A goal there would have been tough on Wales given the pattern of this half - but Linder's effort was not far away.

    Wales 0-0 Germany

Germany come close out of nothing, as Sarai Linder unleashes a dipping 30-yard shot which flashes narrowly over the bar.

  9. Post update

    Wales 0-0 Germany

    Gwennan Harries

Former Wales striker on Match of the Day Wales

    Wales are stepping high up.

They're getting in their faces, it's really helped.

  10. Post update

    Wales 0-0 Germany

    Kath Morgan

Former Wales captain on BBC Radio Cymru

The difference, the defensive shape has been better tonight.

We've not had that throughout the rest of the campaign.

Keep things tight and make it harder for Germany to attack. That's what Jayne Ludlow did.

  11. Post update

    Wales 0-0 Germany

    Jo Price

Former Wales goalkeeper on BBC Radio Wales

The keeper came a long way out there to get that one.

It was Alexandra Popp who was there to clear it off the line.

  12. Post update

    Wales 0-0 Germany

Another Welsh corner causes alarm for Germany as goalkeeper Merle Frohms cannot gather.

Once more the ball drops to Sophie Ingle, but her effort lacks power and is cleared from under the bar.

  13. Post update

    Wales 0-0 Germany

Rachel Rowe is on the end of a heavy challenge but she is okay to continue.

That is good news for Wales, for the Rangers player has been influential so far.

  14. Post update

    Wales 0-0 Germany

Germany are coming back into this after that strong spell for Wales.

It is important for the home side, you feel, that they don not concede before half-time.

  15. Post update

    Wales 0-0 Germany

    Jo Price

Former Wales goalkeeper on BBC Radio Wales

Olivia Clark expected to be a lot busier than she is at the moment.

  16. Post update

    Wales 0-0 Germany

Angharad James is late in a challenge in midfield but the referee plays advantage.

Svenja Huth tries to open Wales up with a pass but it's too heavy and Wales come away with possession.

  17. Post update

    Wales 0-0 Germany

    Kath Morgan

Former Wales captain on BBC Radio Cymru

Gemma Evans does the hard work there, a fantastic tackle, and then she leaves the ball.

We have to look after the ball.

Gemma Evans of Wales makes a sliding tackle
  18. Post update

    Wales 0-0 Germany

Germany launch a lighting counter-attack after a Welsh corner is cleared.

Gemma Evans' sliding tackle slows the German progress, but they still work the ball to Sjoeke Nusken on the edge of the box.

Her volley is on target but is comfortably saved by Olivia Clark.

  19. Post update

    Wales 0-0 Germany

There is a decent crowd in at the Swansea.com Stadium tonight and, so far at least, they have enjoyed what they have seen from Wales.

  20. Post update

    Wales 0-0 Germany

    Jo Price

Former Wales goalkeeper on BBC Radio Wales

So far that's how Germany's night is going.

It's been a little bit frustrating for them.
