24 goals and a penalty shootout! There was no shock result, but a constant stream of goals to keep us entertained.

Now that Stevenage have come through the shoot-out to beat Port Vale having been 2-0 and 3-2 down, we know the make-up of the ties involving tonight's winners.

This is a difficult one to take for Port Vale.

They looked so commanding for so long but ultimately their defensive frailties let them down at key moments.

They exit at the second round stage, having looked nailed for a trip to Maidstone.

Well what a remarkable night at Vale Park.

2-0 up with 10 minutes to go the tie was done.

But Stevenage came back to force extra time and then did it again to take the tie to penalties.
