  1. HITS THE WOODWORK - Arsenalpublished at 20:44 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal are getting closer and closer. Bukayo Saka gives it to Martin Odegaard with a backheel, he slides it to Gabriel Jesus and he shoots at goal, it beats Matt Turner but smashes against the inside of the right upright and away.

I said Luton would go down and with the way they are currently playing, I might be really wrong so respect to Luton and I hope they stay up.

Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze's performances are showing just how crucial they are to Palace. The majority of play has come through both of those players. Another reminder that they have only started seven games all season together for Palace.

The Tom Lockyer effect! Well done Luton, keep it up for your skipper.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:44 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Crystal Palace 2-2 Sheffield United

Another card for a Sheffield United defender as Jack Robinson trips Eberechi Eze about 40 yards out.

  6. Skipper Lockyer back at Luton after cardiac arrestpublished at 20:44 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

Luton Town captain Tom Lockyer has returned to Kenilworth Road for the first time since he collapsed in December with a cardiac arrest.

Lockyer, 29, spent five days in hospital following his on-pitch collapse at Bournemouth on 16 December.

He returned to watch his team-mates host Brighton in the Premier League.

Hatters' chief executive Gary Sweet said he "genuinely thought we had lost" Lockyer on the day of the midfielder's collapse.

Lockyer returned to the club's Brache HQ on Monday, in a visit that brought "a tear to everybody's eye", Sweet said.

"He's such a solid, sound, brilliant man; so humble and everybody cares so much about him," he said.

"We're not thinking about him and football, we're thinking about him and his health and his family."

    Aston Villa 0-0 Newcastle

Matty Cash shows good persistence to get a shot off inside the box for Aston Villa but it is straight at Martin Dúbravka.

  8. 'Great save from Turner'published at 20:43 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Arsenal

    Dion Dublin
Former England striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Great save that, by the way.

I think the ball was going to the near post and took a slight deflection and Turner bats it away. Strong arm from the keeper.

  9. Postpublished at 20:43 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Arsenal

A chance for Arsenal. Martin Odegaard gives it to Bukayo Saka and the England man forces a one-handed save, after a deflection from Harry Toffolo, from Matt Turner in the Forest goal. Good save from the ex-Gunner against his old side.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:42 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Crystal Palace 2-2 Sheffield United

Crystal Palace break through Michael Olise who is cynically tripped by Auston Trusty in midfield. The American goes into the book.

Olise has Trusty in his pocket.

  11. 'Awoniyi will look to occupy defenders'published at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Arsenal

    Dion Dublin
Former England striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Awoniyi is just a little bit further forward than where Chris Wood was. He will sit further forward and look to occupy both centre-backs.

  12. Postpublished at 20:39 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Aston Villa 0-0 Newcastle

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live Extra

You get the feeling that there will be more chances for Newcastle from that simple ball over the top.

I'm still counting on the three teams who came up from championship last season to go down and the three who were relegated from the PL to come back up. First time this would have happened.

  14. Postpublished at 20:39 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Aston Villa 0-0 Newcastle

I don't want to suggest that this hasn't been a thriller but Anthony Gordon's effort in the 20th minute was the first shot attempted by either side in this match.

  15. Postpublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Crystal Palace 2-2 Sheffield United

Dean Henderson gets his first touch, easily dealing with an Oli McBurnie effort from range.

The Palace keeper didn't have a chance with either Sheffield United goal. After a period of sitting back, the Blades are starting to build up some pressure now.

The frustration I have with Arteta's Arsenal is the same problem I had with the latter stages of Wenger's Arsenal - there's no Plan B. Forest, quite rightly, are playing to their strengths - solid defence and lethal counter attack. It's up to Arsenal to find something else to beat that because tippy-tappy short passing isn't working.

  17. CLOSE!published at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Aston Villa 0-0 Newcastle

Huge chance for Newcastle as Anthony Gordon makes a run through the middle, he tries to round Emiliano Martínez but the Aston Villa goalkeeper stays on his feet and then makes the save.

If Luton stay up, I expect all those who texted in to say they would be an embarrassment to the league to text in an apology.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Luton 3-0 Brighton

A memorable first-half performance by Luton that might just take them out of the relegation zone tonight.

Few gave them a chance of survival and many thought they'd fail to beat Derby's record-low points total but they are clearly fighting with everything they have.

Back under way at the City Ground after a disappointing first half.
