No matter how it's hyped, the FA Cup is, sadly, lost its magic and shine. Thanks to the Premier League's dominance of the game and the focus on European football

    Fulham 1-0 Rotherham

The longer this game goes on, the more Rotherham will feel that might be able to nick something.

They have created precious little so far but all it takes is one chance and Fulham have looked a little jittery in the last few minutes.

  3. KICK-OFFpublished at 21:02 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January

    Tottenham 0-0 Burnley

Off we go again in London. Burnley have been a threat on the break.

    Brentford 1-1 Wolves

Pedro Neto wins a corner for Wolves, who have still not given up on winning this. Despite being down to 10 men for almost 80 minutes, they have given this a real go. Fair play.

Rotherham have done alright defensively but not really created anything.

I want to see the wing backs making more forward runs, trying to gamble and come out.

It's a learning curve for us and I'm pleased with the way we have defended as a unit and as a team.

  6. CLOSE!published at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January

    Brentford 1-1 Wolves

This would have been lovely! Keane Lewis-Potter's reverse pass sets up a chance on the left.

It comes into Shandon Baptiste, he shoots first time and Myles Peart-Harris tries to deflect it past the keeper from close range but it flies past the post.

That was so well worked and not far off.

Vitaly Janelt pings in a good cross from the left but it won't fall for two Brentford players at the back post.

Burnley should be pleased with first half performance, contained Tottenham & broke well to create chances.

    Lloyd, Aldershot

Too many players seem to play for a penalty or foul rather than stay on their feet and actually score a goal

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:56 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January

    Brentford 1-1 Wolves

Santiago Bueno is in the book for timewasting as Brentford try to regain control of this game.

This is a great spell by Wolves. They are on top at Brentford and manager Gary O'Neil is urging his players forward.

We've got around 10 minutes to go.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 20:55 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January

    Fulham 1-0 Rotherham

    Triple change now for Rotherham.

On come Sam Nombe, Oliver Rathbone and Christ Tiehi.

Tom Eaves, Cafu and Sam Clucas make way.

With 25 minutes plus stoppage time to go, the visitors are still in this.

Watching the Spurs game I feel as though nothing has changed. They have the ball 10 yards outside Burnley’s area and low and behold 4 passes later (with no Burnley player touching the ball) it is back in the Spurs area. They are becoming a team you don’t enjoy watching anymore.

Vitinho has attempted four tackles in this game, more than any other player on either team.

Brennan Johnson has had three shots for Tottenham.

    Brentford 1-1 Wolves

Brentford break through the middle with Mikkel Damsgaard. He lays it off to Myles Peart-Harris and his dangerous cross is headed away.

Wolves have to defend again seconds later to block a strike on the edge of the box.

Has Andreas Pereira gone for goal direct from that corner?

I think he might have, you know. Viktor Johansson was a yard or two off his line and the Fulham midfielder tries to whip the ball in at the near post.

Just too high, though, and it lands on the top of the net.

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde can't link-up with Pedro Neto in the box but he's earned Wolves a corner.

It's headed wide by Matt Doherty.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:51 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January

    Fulham 1-0 Rotherham

Good save! Fulham are starting to ramp up the pressure again with a series of corners.

The first comes to Bobby De Cordova-Reid in space but his volley is blocked before Andreas Pereira's shot is deflected wide.

Tosin Adarabioyo meets the next with a firm header but it is superbly tipped over the bar by Viktor Johansson.

    Burnley look a threat.

Amdouni, Foster, Odobert, Zaroury- they do have players that can cause problems. When they get into that final third though they either pick the wrong pass or just the decision-making is not good enough.

    Ronnie Moore

Rotherham need to up the tempo, it's just cruise control at the moment.

You might as well get beaten 2-0 by trying to get back in the game and having a go. There is still time.
