Here's the equaliser from Morgan Gibbs-White. Not Patrick Bamford levels, but it's a scorcher.

I think Darren Moore will be pleased certainly with the application of his team. They have worked their socks off but the quality of Man City has shown today.

Sadly one of the downsides of the Premiership ‘winter break’ will be a dramatic reduction in the probability of a cup shock. As the Premier teams will play their strongest teams.

    Peterborough 0-2 Leeds

    Paul Robinson
Former Tottenham and England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Darren Ferguson has changed things it looks like an orthodox 4-4-2 formation.

The three substitutions he has brought on are all very tall - an improvement in height. Does this mean Peterborough are going to go long?

  7. Man City fans want morepublished at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January

Manchester City look on it now while Huddersfield are looking tired and you would not rule out further goals for the home side.

The City fans certainly want more, with one City fan close to me shouting "six more to go, boys", again linking back to that 10-1 win almost 40 years ago.

I am not sure it will get as bad as that, but City are looking very, very comfortable now.

Pep is a brilliant manager but I’m still not comfortable with his team selections sometimes. De Bruyne is fantastic but he is 32 and had injury issues. He should just be used as an impact player now for 15 to 30 minutes when necessary. I very much hope he does not get injured again so soon.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January

    Nottingham Forest 2-2 Blackpool

Daniel Grimshaw pulls off a cracking stop to block Ryan Yates' header from a few yards out.

It was pure reaction and Grimshaw gets a strong hand to claw it off the line.

Phil Foden is filling Erling Haaland's boots at the moment. He's become a real focal point for this Man City team.

He just passes it along the floor with real power and precision, the goalkeeper had no chance.

GOAL - Man City 4-0 Huddersfieldpublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January

    Phil Foden

Phil Foden has his second of the day.

It's a really well worked goal. Kevin de Bruyne to Sergio Gomez to Mateo Kovacic, who flicks it on delightfully for the England international.

Foden takes it first time and his low strike nestles itself into the bottom left corner of the Huddersfield goal.

Jordan Clark comes close from the corner as the ball finds him outside the area. Nathan Baxter is scrambling as Clark's strike whistles past the post.
