  1. Good night!published at 22:10 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Derby 3-2 Burton

Another quiet night at the office, then.

You just don't get routine wins in the EFL.

A cracking second half and a stoppage-time winner, but it's time to sip a cup of something calming and get a good night's sleep.

Thanks, as ever, for your company. See you next time.

  2. "We just decided to stop playing"published at 22:06 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Derby 3-2 Burton

Derby scorer Tom Barkhuizen told Sky Sports:

"2-0 it should be more comfortable than it was but then we just decided to stop playing a bit and in this league you're going to get punished.

"Luckily Conor's left foot saved us at the end.

"We gave them a leg up and they made it difficult for us. The goals were defendable from our point of view.

"But we showed great character at the end, kept going and thankfully got the win."

  3. "We made hard work of it"published at 22:03 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Derby 3-2 Burton

Derby skipper Conor Hourihane told Sky Sports:

"Hopefully that will be a big goal come the end of the season, but it was a scrappy game and we made hard work of it.

"Luckily we got the three points on the end and that's all that matters really.

"It's a sweet ending, but we should be seeing the game out better than that really."

  4. 'Football is painful.'published at 21:58 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    FT: Derby 3-2 Burton

Former Burton Albion defender for BBC Radio Derby

Burton have never won on this ground, they did everything they could do to try and deny Derby the three points.

Football is painful, it brings you up and then swiftly back down, but plenty of positives to take from this game, it was an improvement-Albion fans will be gutted heading back tonight.

The in-game management coming back from two-down will have impressed them though.

Derby up to third as Conor Hourihane's last-gasp winner moves them level on points with second-placed Peterborough but behind on goals scored.

They're also within a point of leaders Portsmouth with a game in hand.

Burton showed plenty of promise, but will be absolutely gutted.

The Brewers fought back superbly after James Collins had made it 2-0 shortly after the break.

Steve Seddon quickly pulled one back before Joe Hugill levelled it four minutes into his senior debut, only for the Derby skipper to do what skippers do.
