Coventry 0-1 Leicester
We're up to 15 minutes gone in the second half and things have calmed down just a bit.
Ten-man Leicester, so far, are holding firm against an eager Coventry side.
Coventry 0-1 Leicester
Coventry beginning to make their player advantage count.
A Milan van Ewijk ball is floated across the face of the Leicester goal and Matty Godden gets his head to it but it's a comfortable save from Foxes keeper Mads Hermansen.

It is headed towards goal but the 'keeper saves.
A little too close to the goalkeeper, straight at him.
A great chance for Coventry to equalise there but they were not able to take it.
Sell out attendance here this afternoon.

Elijah Bennett: As a Coventry fan, don’t think it was a pen but can see why it was. Definitely a red card.
Andrew Olorenshaw: Not a pen, not a red. Both harsh.
Jim: When have you ever been allowed to follow through studs up at knee height? Obvious penalty.
Eddie, Glasgow: Will Coventry start the second half with the same intent as the first half? Will matters at the end of the first half roll on into the second half? Looks like a great 45 minutes to come.
Coventry 0-1 Leicester
A Leicester free-kick is clumsily deflected into space in the Coventry box and James Justin tries to get a shot away.
The ball is kept alive and floated into the box but the visitors can't quite divert it home.
Another lively start to the half.

Kasey Palmer tees up Matty Godden who strikes at the far post as Coventry press Leicester early on.
His effort is blocked by Foxes keeper Mads Hermansen but Godden's correctly flagged offside just beforehand.

Anon: Definitely a pen. He gets the ball but takes KDH out at his knee. Just because you get the ball first doesn’t give carte blanche to hit the opposition wherever you want.
Paul: The best guide: you know it is not a penalty when none of the Leicester city players appeal.
Mitchell, Coventry fan: Definitely a penalty in my opinion, Thomas may have won the ball but the follow through on Hall was dangerous. The Fatawu challenge was an ankle breaker. 100% a red card.
Martin: It's a collision. Never a penalty.
It's fair to say, there are a variety of views!

The referee letting a couple of things go there.
It is getting quite feisty.
Coventry 0-1 Leicester
Coventry whip a corner into the Leicester box which is met by Kasey Palmer who slices a shot seemingly out for a goal kick to the visitors but Josh Eccles stylishly keeps the ball in play.
Unfortunately for Eccles, his follow-up ball into the box is blocked away by Leicester.

Kasey McAteer has replaced Stephy Mavididi as Leicester make a change at the break after that late Abdul Fatawu red card in the first half.

I'm in the camp that it was not a penalty but the press room is divided.
He wins the ball but it is the follow through that is causing the debate.
Was the red card necessarily out of control? I did think it was justified, not a bright red card, but there was intent.

Before this afternoon's game, both Coventry and Leicester condemned the behaviour of fans who put up offensive banners over the M69 - which links the two cities - targeted at Foxes fans.
Coventry said they were working with West Midlands Police to "identify those who created and displayed these banners".
The club promised to ban anyone found responsible.
Leicester said the banners mocked "the tragic events that deeply affected our club and community".

What an extraordinary end to the first half.
Leicester's highly controversial penalty opener caused such ill feeling in one home corner of the ground that stewards had to quickly intervene to usher away what appeared to be a rogue away fan.
And with heads turned in that direction and the volume turned up significantly, then it all kicked off on the park as Abdul Fatawu steamed into a old-fashioned sliding challenge on Jake Bidwell - and referee Darren England rather readdressed the balance by waving an instant red card.
In the cold light of day, the penalty decision looked extremely harsh. And maybe the Fatawu challenge was more worthy of yellow than red. But it's done now. The Sky Blues trail. But they now have a man advantage. All to play for.

Slide tackle against the full-back Jake Bidwell - they have been having a battle all afternoon.
He flew through him and it is a straight red card from referee Darren England.
Former Leicester winger Matt Piper on BBC Radio Leicester: He did not need to do it, Seven out of 10 referees are giving that as a red card.
It was borderline in my mind but was a little out of control, he has let his team down there.
One-footed but he left the floor.
Coventry 0-1 Leicester
A quiet 45 minutes with nothing to talk about whatsoever.
Well not quite.
That's about as thrilling a first half as you can hope for in the Championship.
Coventry dominated much of the opening stages but went a goal down in controversial circumstances after Leicester were awarded a penalty when Bobby Thomas was judged to have fouled Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall who then sent them ahead from the spot.
But just moments later, Abdul Fatawu was sent off for the visitors who will now have to play the second half with 10 men.
Phew.

Chaos. Leicester go a goal up but are now a man down.
Abdul Fatawu goes in with a rash challenge on Coventry's Jake Bidwell and the visitors are at an immediate disadvantage.
Blimey.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall makes no mistake from the spot and Leicester are ahead right before the break!
Believe it or not, Leicester hadn't had a shot on target before that.

That is definitely one I want to see back.
In real time I thought he got the ball.
We are sat 150 yards away, I am pleased we have got a penalty, but definitely need to see a replay to judge that one.
