  1. 'Derby need confidence'published at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Derby 0-0 Cheltenham

    Adam Bolder
    Fomer Derby County midfielder

The home fans are trying to get behind Derby.

Kane Wilson has given the ball away a few times already.

They need to string a few passes together and get that confidence built.

  2. goal

GOAL: Doncaster 0-2 Stockportpublished at 15:14 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Two already!

Stockport all over their hosts so far, a driving run into the box from their impressive playmaker Connor Lemonheigh-Evans again, he stabs the ball across goal and Owen Bailey inadvertently heads into his own net

  3. Postpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Carlisle 0-0 Bolton

Carlisle have really rolled the dice in January thanks to their new American owners.

They have three new year arrivals in their starting line-up and new signings Jack Diamond and Josh Vela on the bench.

A good result today could provide impetus for the rest of their season.

  4. 'Great start for Millwall'published at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Millwall 1-0 Preston

    Sam Parkin
Former Millwall forward on BBC Radio London

You have to admire that delivery and finish.

Preston are such a stodgy outfit so it's brilliant Millwall have scored early.

    Great start.

  5. Postpublished at 15:10 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Derby 0-0 Cheltenham

Derby have handed a first start to Corey Blackett-Taylor. He was only a sub at Reading in midweek but Paul Warne has thrown him in from the start today.

He was impressive in a struggling Charlton side, and the Rams will hope that he can bring more attacking impetus to their team.

  6. goal

GOAL: Millwall 1-0 Prestonpublished at 15:09 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Zian Flemming (5 mins)

Perfect start for the home side!

Dutchman Zian Flemming loves playing against Preston.

This is his fourth game against them and his sixth goal.

The Bermondsey Bergkamp heads in from George Honeyman's cross.

  7. goal

GOAL: Doncaster 0-1 Stockportpublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Paddy Madden (5 mins)

That man Paddy Madden again-he heads home from a Macauley Southam-Hales corner. Amazingly that is Madden's first away goal since 2022.

Stockport were dominating the early stages and deserve the opener.

  8. goal

GOAL: Crewe 0-1 Salfordpublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Matt Smith (4 mins)

And we have the first goal of the afternoon...

It comes in League Two as Matt Smith puts Salford ahead at Crewe.

  9. Postpublished at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Doncaster 0-0 Stockport

First big chance goes to the away side; Paddy Madden sends through Connor Lemonheigh Evans, he beats two in the box, but his shot is saved.

  10. 'Millwall should be confident'published at 15:06 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Millwall 0-0 Preston

    Sam Parkin
Former Millwall forward on BBC Radio London

Millwall are up against a team who have been really struggling recently.

They should be confident, especially after a decent run of form since manager Joe Edwards came into the job.

    Hoping for a home win.

  11. Postpublished at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Sunderland 0-0 Stoke

Bright enough start from the home side.

Boss Michael Beale really needs a win to get these Black Cats fans onside.

So much to unpick from the Bristol Rovers team news. Six changes from the Exeter defeat midweek.

Twenty-year old local boy, Jed Ward, replaces Matthew Cox in goal. It’s gone down really well with the home fans here. “He’s one of our own” – a change they say needed to happen.

But one major omission. No Aaron Collins. The striker said to be generating transfer interest from Wrexham and Bolton – could we have seen the last of Collins in Bristol Rovers colours?

And it’s a first start for new signing, Kamil Conteh, who joined from Grimsby this week. Corr, not sure what to expect from this side today!

  13. Posh 'like a high-speed train'published at 15:03 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Lincoln 0-0 Peterborough

    Marc Webber
Final Score at the LNER Stadium

Welcome to the LNER derby, where a direct train ride separates these two teams. That explains a crowded, loud away end and 9000 tickets sold overall.

Peterborough racing up the league like a High Speed train - unbeaten now in 21 league games- with Portsmouth the last team to beat them in the league.

Lincoln haven’t quite hit the buffers - they are still mid-table. And they have posted two recent draws to arrest a string of losses, so maybe their form will head in a different direction now.

  14. Air of fatigue at Reading?published at 15:02 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Reading 0-0 Leyton Orient

    Ryan Bromilow
BBC Final Score at the Select Car Leasing Stadium

There was a feeling of fatigue at the Select Car as Reading supporters slowly filed into their seats, as protests remain ongoing against club owner Dai Younge.

On the field, the Royals are unchanged after survival hopes were lifted in midweek.

Orient, meanwhile, are soaring, aiming for a sixth consecutive clean sheet.

There is a hint of winter sunshine in the air. A welcome change from some of the rubbish we've had recently!

Let's hope it inspires the players over the next two hours!

  16. Thoughts with the League Two groundsmen...published at 14:57 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

The players are getting a feel for the pitch here pre-match, which is showing a few scars from the wet and windy weather of late.

The six-yard box is a bit boggy, but also a bit sandy…all thoughts are with League Two groundsmen at this time of year.

Bottom club Forest Green Rovers will have Steve Cotterill in charge for his first game when they welcome Accrington.

Cotterill replaced Troy Deeney, who was sacked last week after six games. The Gloucestershire club have not won in their past 12 league games and are six points from safety.

Sutton, who have only won one of their past 11 league games, go to a Walsall side who have won each of their past three home league games.

Colchester have won just one of their past 12 league games. Now under the management of Danny Cowley, they make the journey to Morecambe.

Salford make the trip to high-flying Crewe, who ended Barrow's unbeaten home record last week.

    It's 18th v 19th as Grimsby host Tranmere.

And similarly we have 16th v 17th as Bradford make the trip to the County Ground to face a Swindon side who have only won one of their past eight league games.

Stockport County are back on the road this afternoon with a chance to extend their lead at the top, and complete a league double over Doncaster Rovers.

Grant McCann's Rovers have enjoyed an upturn in performances since the turn of the year and McCann feels they can head into Saturday’s game with confidence following the impressive showing against League One side Wigan Athletic in the EFL Trophy last time out.

Seventh-placed Notts County play their first home Football League match against Barrow since a 3-1 win back in August 1970 under Jimmy Sirrel.

Barrow are fifth, but winless in their last five Football League games against Notts County since a 2-1 win in April 1966.

Mansfield travel to an AFC Wimbledon side who have lost their past two league games.

Mansfield have only lost one of their past 19 away league games, the Stags have picked up more away points in League Two this season than any other side (27).

Plenty of Bolton Wanderers pendants and scarves in cars making their way over Shap summit on the M6 with the travelling fans also enjoying refreshment at the fabled Tebay service station.

Some 3,000 of them expected here in Cumbria as Bolton look to climb into the automatic promotion places.

But they ought to be wary of Carlisle - one of their four wins this season came at Bolton in October.
