  1. HALF-TIME Celtic 0-0 Livingstonpublished at 15:51 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

The half-time whistle goes without a review of that handball incident. It surely must've been outside the box?

Despite laying siege to the Livingston penalty area Celtic have not been able to find a way through.

The visitors have been resolute in defence, putting bodies on the line in a series of last-ditch blocks and tackles.

  2. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:50 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

Livingston want a penalty as the ball appears to ping off the arm of Paulo Bernardo.

But was it just outside the box?

  3. Gordon makes return...or notpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Hearts 1-0 St Johnstone

Just the 364 days after breaking his leg, 40-year-old Craig Gordon is stripped and ready to make his Hearts return.

But Zander Clark springs back to his feet after some treatment.

    Tynecastle sits back down...

  4. Postpublished at 15:46 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

Pitch chat when Livingston are involved is only usually when they play at home.

But the turf at Celtic Park doesn't look great in areas.

  5. Postpublished at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Kilmarnock 2-0 St Johnstone

Another Killie chance after they weather the St Johnstone storm.

A goal kick isn't dealt with by St Johnstone and Marley Watkins slips Kyle Vassell behind, but his left-foot drive rises over the bar.

He should hit the target at least.

  6. Parkes makes waypublished at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

After a delay for assessment, it's apparent Tom Parkes cannot go on.

Michael Nottingham is quickly getting out of his tracksuit to come on.

  7. ouch!

    Ouch!published at 15:40 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

Tom Parkes is looking very groggy after getting his head in the way of a fierce shot from Cameron Carter-Vickers.

Concern on the Livi bench since the defender has been in tremendous form so far.

  8. Postpublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Kilmarnock 2-0 St Johnstone

St Johnstone have enjoyed the better of it since that earlier Max Kucheriavyi chance.

They're knocking the ball about nicely, particularly in the midfield with Dan Phillips, but it's not led to anything concrete.

  9. Postpublished at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

Daizen Maeda is too tentative as he has a prod at goal just six yards out.

Jack Hamilton gathers with ease and is a bit lucky to get away without coming for that ball in the first place.

  10. goal

GOAL! Hearts 1-0 St Mirrenpublished at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Lawrence Shankland

It's him again. Lawrence Shankland scores for the third game in a row.

It's a shocker from Buddies captain Mark O'Hara, who is robbed by Alex Cochrane in his own box as he tries to flick it away.

Cochrane helps it to the back post where Shankland stoops to nod in, despite Zach Hemming's best efforts.

  11. Postpublished at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

Wave after wave of Celtic attacks...

Matt O'Riley tries to bring the ball down deep inside the Livi penalty area but his touch isn't true and it scoots into the arms of Jack Hamilton.

He might have been better having a swing at that cross.

  12. Postpublished at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Hearts 0-0 St Mirren

Scott Tanser bends a free-kick wide for St Mirren after a neat turn and driving run from Jonah Ayunga drew a foul.

One shot on target in this game so far, and it was a tame one from Ayunga as well.

Not vintage stuff. Hope Derek Adams isn't watching...

  13. Festive cheer among Killie fanspublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Kilmarnock 2-0 St Johnstone

    Andy Burke
    BBC Scotland at Rugby Park

The Kilmarnock fans are loving what they are seeing from their team so far.

They are attacking with real verve and purpose, with Danny Armstrong at the heart of it as expected.

They look threatening every time they come forward and Kyle Vassell really should have put this game to bed with that glaring chance.

  14. Postpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Kilmarnock 2-0 St Johnstone

That's St Johnstone's first chance and it comes entirely through the persistence of Max Kucheriavyi.

He battles down the right, cuts in on his left and he's into the box, but Will Dennis makes a good save.

The ball rebounded kindly to Chris Kane but Lewis Mayo reacted quickly to hook the ball clear.

  15. ouch!

    Ouch!published at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

More good work from Tom Parkes to deny Daizen Maeda.

The Livingston defender slides in to clear and takes a chunk of his own goalkeeper after getting to the ball.

Jack Hamilton is wincing after that collision but will realise how important the intervention was.

  16. Postpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Kilmarnock 2-0 St Johnstone

Kyle Vassell - is that the miss of the weekend?

Brad Lyons whips in a delicious cross to Vassell, about five yards out. Dimitar Mitov is stranded, there's no-one near him, but Vassell volleys over.

    That should be game over.

  17. Postpublished at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

    85% possession for Celtic.

    One shot on target.

    We've seen this film before.

  18. 'No sign of Pyro at Parkhead'published at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Celtic Park

Banners unfurled by the Green Brigade read: 'Football without fans is nothing, thank you Bhoys'.

The noisy ultras are clearly happy to be back and seem to be abiding by the new code of conduct the club has imposed.

No sign of any pyro or overtly political banners.

  19. Partick paritypublished at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Partick Thistle 1-1 Inverness CT

    Kenny Crawford
    BBC Sport Scotland at Firhill

It’s a second of the season for right-back Jack McMillan, who squeezed it under Mark Ridgers in the six-yard box after some impressive, intricate play by Kerr McInroy and Blair Alston.

The home fans have found their voices!

  20. Postpublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Kilmarnock 2-0 St Johnstone

Kilmarnock are rampant here. They're toying with the St Johnstone defence, who put in some desperate blocks to deny the hosts getting their third.

Danny Armstrong, David Watson and Marley Watkins are all playing brilliantly early on.

Singing off the same carol sheet, you could say...
